Please gather with your group at the Golden Place, Tha Chang meeting point.
Our tour guide will be holding a “Viator” signboard and will verify your name on the traveler list. Once all guests have arrived, the guide will lead the group to the Grand Palace. - The Grand Palace - Begin your visit at the Grand Palace and The Emerald Buddha Temple. The Emerald Buddha Temple, or Wat Phra Kaew, located on Trairat Road in Wiang Subdistrict, is famous for its connection with the Emerald Buddha, also known as Phra Phuttha Maha Mani Rattana Patimakon (currently enshrined at Wat Phra Si Rattana Satsadaram). In the same area, continue to explore the Grand Palace, which served as the former residence for King Rama I to King Rama V of the Rattanakosin Kingdom. Today, it is used for hosting royal ceremonies and welcoming the king’s guests, state guests, and other foreign dignitaries. It is also where the remains of kings and high-ranking members of the royal family were placed before cremation. The Grand Palace is divided into two main zones: the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the royal residence.
- Wat Phra Chetuphon - Proceed to visit Wat Pho, (Reclining Buddha Temple or Wat Phra Chetuphon). It is regarded as Thailand’s first university. Wat Pho features a large reclining Buddha image constructed during the reign of King Rama III, made of masonry, mortar, and covered with gold. It measures 46 meters in length and 15 meters in height. On the sole of each foot, there are 108 auspicious images adorned with pearls, representing a great man according to Indian principles.
- Temple Of Dawn (Wat Arun) - Next, your tour guide will accompany you to the pier, where you’ll enjoy a scenic public boat ride across the river to the magnificent Wat Arun. Then visit Wat Arun, (Temple of Dawn), considered by many as one of the most beautiful temples in Thailand. The prang (spire) by the Chao Phraya is one of Bangkok’s world-famous landmarks. The impressive spire rises over 70 meters high, beautifully adorned with tiny pieces of colored glass and Chinese porcelain arranged in intricate patterns.
