Amazing hike with our Guide Mike - This was an adventure for myself and a friend of many years from Highschool. We decided on Arizona with a hike on Camelback Mountain, the Echo Canyon trail. We met our guide Mike at 6 am to start our hike. Mike had everything provided for us. Backpacks, snacks, water, electrolytes and more. He was very professional, friendly, fun and knowledgeable. At 50 and 51 years of age my girlfriend and I are both in good shape but we were a bit nervous as it is a difficult trail. Mike encouraged us, made it fun and made us feel safe through the whole journey. We took breaks along the way to learn about the native plants and trees. We saw a rattlesnake, squirrels, lizards and even a chuckwalla. Each time stopping to learn all about them. Mike knows the history of the land and made the entire hike a really fun and interesting experience. Truly memorable for us both! Thank you Mike!!!!

Awesome! - Curtis was my guide. He texted me the day before with tips on where to park and meet him even sending a photo of himself and description of his vehicle along with tips on layers of clothing might need for the weather the day of the hike. He met me promptly at the start time for the hike and had the supplies he indicated. He’s lived a number of years in the area we hiked, so he had great info and tips on how to better hike the trail. I was his only client on the hike and really enjoyed the 1 on 1 attention I got from Curtis. He’s easy going but very attentive to safety. He had plenty of good stories while hiking, knew many of the local hikers, and took several photos of me hiking sending them to me the same day of the hike. The hike itself is difficult but he knew all the great places for photo opportunities and made the time fly by as we made the summit of Camelback in 1 hr 20minutes. Really a neat hike for its views, rock formations, and workout you get. Curtis really made it an enjoyable adventure vs just another hike. Plus with his experience and carrying extra water he kept an eye on me relative to my physical state duting the hike to make I was well hydrated and doing ok. He was ok that I took a lot of pictures during the hike but still respected the fact that we had to keep moving. Best to wear layered clothing that is quick dry that you can remove per the weather that day as you heat up. We had an incredible day that started in the high 50’s at 6:30am. Finished hike by 9:30am easily. Overall: great guide, challenging hike, great views. Very happy with the experience having an experienced guide for my first hike up Camelback who had plenty of extra info about the area and what we saw on the hike. Highly recommend Curtis and the hike if you are in decent shape. I wore hiking boots for support, protection, and traction as most paths are rock scrambling so you need to watch where you step and plan your path.

Road Less Traveled On - What an experience climbing Camelback Mountain! My guide Michael 💪 made the day from a normal climb like most other tourist into an adventure/experience that I would not have had without him as a guide. We took a route far less traveled upon and he showed me some routes that he used on his own personal hikes. This allowed for some bouldering, a little climbing, and not being around the crowds near as much. I was able to see other parts of the mountain that a typical person would have missed. It also gave me even more a sense of accomplishment to reach the top! Throughout the hike he shared some education on the area, wildlife, vegetation, and other hikes to do in the area. He also took some amazing pictures that I would have never captured if I hiked by myself. I would recommend a guide for solo hikers or small groups, and I would highly recommend Michael as the guide of choice!

Camelback adventure - one to remember!! - Wow what an experience!! First of all Curtis came fully prepared to take my husband and I for an adventure. He made sure that we were going to reach the top of camelback. Unfortunately on the way down my husband suffered a bad case of dehydration and both legs tensed up that he couldn’t walk!! The amazing attention that Curtis gave my husband was one to none!! He reassured him that he will Make it down the mountain safe and sound. He made sure that my husband kept on drinking and he even gave him water out of his own personal tank that he keeps on his back!! Amazing experience, tons of knowledge and thank god husband is safe and sound!! I am HIGHLY recommending this company and our guy Curtis if you are in the camelback area and want to have a nice safe trip while still getting a crazy workout and an adventure!!!
