• Wat Botum Park - We will pick up our participants from their accommodations in Phnom Penh and take a short transfer to the meeting point at Wat Botum Park. Here, our guide will provide a tour briefing, and we’ll enjoy a welcome drink, such as beer, along with our first tasting of traditional Khmer noodles (Num Banh Chok or Num Bok Pen). These noodles have been famous since the 13th century (around 1270), introduced by Chinese King Duzong.
• Sisowath Quay - After savoring Num Banh Chok or Num Bok Pen, we’ll take a scenic walk along the riverside, where you can sample local street foods like fried little frog, fried cricket, silkworm, grasshopper, grilled snake, fried water beetle, and a variety of edible insects.
• Phsar Chas - It’s time to explore the first local market on our food journey. Here, we’ll learn more about local food items and try special dishes such as cow stomach with fermented fish sauce, chicken or beef BBQ, and Khmer desserts.
• Phsar Orussey - Please prepare some small cash for your personal expenses during our visit to Phsar Orussey Market. This market offers a variety of foods, including local Khmer dishes and international influences from China and Vietnam. Interestingly, the market also houses traditional medicine stores, where food goes beyond just sustenance.

As we walk around the market, you can choose your own local food selections, such as spring rolls, crispy pork, balut, meat bread, Vietnamese Pho, and other beverages and desserts. We’ll then return to the hotel, concluding our brilliant food adventure in Phnom Penh.
