Silk history
Cambodia boasts a rich silk-weaving tradition dating back to pre-Angkorian times. Although the craft is declining, nationwide efforts are underway to revive it. Koh Dach is home to several weaving communities.
Visitors can explore the entire process, from feeding the silk worms with mulberry leaves, spinning the yarn, and dyeing techniques, to witnessing the final product.
The main silk weaving center is approximately 1km from the ferry landing. It features a collection of stilted wooden houses where weavers use handmade wooden looms to create patterned silk scarves and traditional Khmer skirts.

- Wat Phnom - Wat Phnom is a Buddhist temple in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Built in 1372, it stands 27 meters above the ground, making it the tallest religious structure in the city. The pagoda was named Wat Preah Chedey Borapaut. Wat Phnom is the central landmark of Phnom Penh.
