• Wat Phnom - The tour begins at the historically significant site of Wat Phnom in Phnom Penh. Visitors will see the Lady Penh statue and learn about her history before ascending the steps. The entrance fee is USD 1.
• Wat Ounalom - This is one of the most important monasteries in Phnom Penh, established in 1442 after the capital was founded in 1434 by King Ponhea Yarth. Entrance is free.
• National Museum - Built in 1920 during French colonial rule, the National Museum showcases traditional Cambodian architecture. Photography is permitted only from outside the building.
• Royal Palace - In front of the Royal Palace, locals enjoy time with friends and family in the public park. The palace, facing east, offers a beautiful morning view. A royal crematorium is located to the left, linked to the death gate, while the victory gate is at the front. Photography is allowed from outside only, free of charge.
• Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Monument - This large concrete monument commemorates the former alliance between Vietnam and Cambodia. It is located in Botum Park, near the Royal Palace.
• Koh Pich City Hall - Situated on Diamond Island, just a 5-minute drive from the previous stop. Along the way, visitors will see the patriarch monk statue, a Buddhist institute next to a casino, Cambodia’s parliament, and new skyscrapers. Before visiting the King statue and Independence Monument, the tour will show the river confluence where the Tonle Sap, Mekong Upper, Mekong Lower, and Tonle Bassac meet.
• Statue of King Father Norodom Sihanouk - This bronze statue stands in the largest park in Phnom Penh. It was erected in 2013, following his passing in October 2012.
• Independence Monument - Located at a major intersection, this monument was built between 1958 and 1962 to symbolize Cambodia’s independence from French colonization, which lasted from 1863 to 1953.
• Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum - Formerly a high school built in 1960, it was converted into a detention center by the Khmer Rouge in 1975, known as S21 prison. Visitors will spend 90 minutes with an audio guide. Entrance fee is USD 5, and the audio guide is USD 5.
• Choeung Ek Genocidal Center - Located 15 km from the capital, this site, known as the Killing Fields, is where the Khmer Rouge executed about 20,000 people after detaining them at S21. Before starting the audio guide tour, visitors will watch a documentary film at a small museum in the Killing Field after obtaining tickets. Lunch is optional, depending on the group. Entrance fee is USD 3, and the audio guide is USD 3.
• Russian Market - The final stop is at the Russian Market or Central Market. Visitors can explore Khmer products, many sourced from local businesses and organizations.
