The tour was great! Our guide painted a wonderful picture of Esherick's life and style. We thoroughly enjoyed it.
Our docent, Katie, was terrific. The museum is unique and his furniture in particular is exquisite. Katie's knowledge of Wharton Esherick and his life on this property added life to the beauty of his work. The wine and cheese with a congenial group of people made for a delightful afternoon. We loved the tour, the place and the experience. Thank you so much.
This was a phenomenal experience and very spiritual. His works bring us close to nature and give us an insight that is rare in woodworking and art. The staff was very gracious and gave us the extra time to enjoy the surroundings and experience. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to gain the full effect of Wharton Esherick and his influence on us.
It was lovely. I would have liked more information about his tools/methods of wood carving.
The tour guide was excellent, she was very knowledgeable about the museum and made it a wonderful experience. The young lady who hosted the wine & cheese event at the end of the tour was delightful as well.
always love seeing the museum but getting to relax on deck really did put it over the edge of enjoyability. Not that you can take credit, but the weather was fabulous. You can take credit for the delicious wine and cheese choices- definitely far surpassed cheese whiz and boones farm wine.

Julie led an outstanding small-group tour that was well thought through, beautifully presented, and interactive, encouraging questions and observations from the group. What a lovely way to be introduced to this gem of a place. I've already recommended it to several friends, and we will back!
We had an excellent tour followed by some great wine & light fare on the wonderful deck!! Fantastic time!
Nice atmosphere. Enjoyable environment to relax in and nosh. And reflect on the amazing creativity all around.
The Wharton Esherick Museum is a delightful gem to visit on the Main Line. I had always wanted to go, and finally got the opportunity. Not only was the Studio enlightening to the art Escherick created but also to the man himself. His work is beautiful and to see it as Escherick had left it in his studio was very exciting. The tour ended with Wine and Cheese on the deck off of the kitchen with time to mingle and converse. All in all, it was a wonderful event.
The site and its creator are intriguing. The guide was excellent. The other employees were delightful.
Our docent was very knowledgeable, the food and wine delicious, and the setting gorgeous. What's not to love? Seriously, we live just 5 minutes away from the museum and always love our visits. Longer opening hours and special events will attract us more often.
The tour was fascinating. Anyone who enjoys architecture, wood working and the creative mind would love this tour. The wine and cheese after, up on the deck was lovely and refreshing and the conversation quite interesting! Highly recommended.
A wonderful tour, with knowledgeable guides, very pleasant, good spirited. It was the most enjoyable museum visits every! Thank You!
Our tour guide was wonderfully knowledgeable and engaging, we only found out afterwards that she had joined the museum as a docent only a few weeks earlier. Very impressive! And all of the staff were extremely welcoming and gracious. Lovely cheese and wine, too!
