For $30 we got maybe a total of 6 oz of drinks and didn’t really learn a lot of history that was implied with the class description. Additionally, you have this flight listed on your menu for $17 and the $12 upcharge for someone searching through google results really isn’t worth it. For that money you really could have brought in a history buff or teacher to actually provide the historical information. I like to support and drink local but this experience was disappointing.

We brought my in-laws to this tasting based on the experience we had about 3 years ago with the Philly foods wine pairing. The Philly foods pairing was extremely enjoyable which is why we wanted to share the experience with our family-we bought them this as a gift for Christmas last year. My husband and I were highly disappointed with this event. The tasting was only 45 minutes. We sampled 4 wines (which in the food paring we had at least 5 or 6). It was extremely loud with the old city stroll happening and using the boutique as a venue-it really took away from the intimacy of the experience as we had prior.

We had expected this class to involve a little more about wine and how it played into the revolution, or to have some stories about the founding fathers and how wine played a role in their lives. The class felt a little bit like a high school recap of history and like the presenter was just trying to think of things to fill the time. It ran less than 1 hour in total, and the wines involved in the tasting were presented as wines we probably wouldn't like. I don't feel like I left having learned anything particularly new, or that the class was presented as it was advertised. The wine tasting we did afterwards was much better! Hope to get back to a different class soon.
