I purchased the Fishtown bike tour and although our tour guides were great, the bars were all VERY close to each other. Had I known we would be walking from bar 1 to 2 and knowing the proximity to the starting / end point, I would have reconsidered that tour. Everything else was great, but the time on the bike was rather minimal for the amount I paid for our party.

My name is Carissa Miller, I booked an 8pm private pedal tour for my birthday on Saturday 4th May, 2019. My entire party got there at 745p and we waited in front of Craft Hall for our bike to arrive. I became nervous when 8pm arrived and there was no bike, no signage about where to wait, and no one around to speak to. Honestly I thought we got robbed of $400+ after showing up and there was no form of signage or person to speak to. I called a phone number in the email, after the 3rd time called I finally spoke with a gentleman who informed me that the previous party is running a few minutes late and will arrive soon. He also said we will get the time back on our trip. Ok sounds good! The bike arrives at 830p and we were on our way. We were enjoying our time on the bike, and at 2 pub stops. Around 950p we boarded the bike again thinking we were about to go to another bar (because we thought had ~40mins left on our tour). Unbeknownst to us, we ended up back where we started, in the parking lot of Craft Hall arriving promptly at 10pm. It was very short to say the least! We were on time and expected our time to be compensated on the back end of our trip. Unfortunately, we assumed too much! We were there to enjoy ourselves not to micromanage our time or where we were heading next (hoping to go to another pub and not just to 2). We also assumed the tour operates knew that if THEY were late, that it wasn't OUR fault and WE needed to get time back on our trip!! This was very disappointing after some of my guests brought it to my attention. Thank you for listening, and hope to maybe receive some sort of compensation for this because we paid full for 15 ppl, expecting 2 hrs and only got 1.5hrs!

So, we had fun on the ride, but pretty much because we made the tour fun. I guess we were just expecting more interaction with the host, like maybe some history about Fishtown. He was kind of stoic. Also, more stops would have been nice. The description made it sound like there were more stops along the way. I would have preferred a little less time at each stop, with more stops added. We didn't return to Sugarhouse with the bike, since we had dinner plans in fishtown, so maybe that made the tour seem even shorter.
