• Liberty Bell Center - Commissioned in 1752, the Liberty Bell has become a symbol of American independence and freedom from oppression.
• The President’s House - The tour begins across the street from America’s first “White House,” where Presidents George Washington and John Adams served when Philadelphia was the U.S. capital from 1790 to 1800. Foreign dignitaries and members of Congress and the Senate often visited The President’s House for both official and unofficial matters. Benedict Arnold also resided here as Military Governor in Philadelphia after the British left the city during the American War for Independence.
• Franklin Court - The residence of Benjamin Franklin during his time at the Constitutional Convention.
• Congress Hall - This historic site hosted the presidential inaugurations of Washington and Adams and was the home of the U.S. Congress from 1790 to 1800, when Philadelphia was the nation’s capital.
• First Bank of the United States - Advocated by Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury, the First Bank of the United States was established in 1797 and is notable for its Roman architectural style.
• Second Bank of the United States - Inspired by Alexander Hamilton’s First Bank, the Second Bank of the United States was chartered by President James Madison in 1816 and lost its charter during Andrew Jackson’s presidency in 1834.
• Carpenters’ Hall - Carpenters’ Hall was the venue for the First Continental Congress in 1774, where Benjamin Franklin held secret meetings with John Jay, Francis Daymon, and the French spy Julien Achard de Bonvouloir in December 1775. These meetings eventually led to negotiations for French support of the colonists. During the winter of 1777, British forces occupying the American capital during the War for Independence also occupied this building.
• JJ Bootleggers - The historic and haunted pub crawl includes about 8 blocks of walking and concludes at JJ Bootleggers Moonshine Bar. From there, it’s easy to continue exploring the city’s nightlife with new friends!
• Independence Visitor Center - The pub crawl starts at the Independence Visitor Center, where participants can head to the pubs to enjoy exclusive drink specials. Once everyone is settled, a complimentary beer, shot, and snack are provided.

Relax with food and drink and get to know the rest of the group, while the knowledgeable guide shares spooky and scandalous tales from Philadelphia’s history. After a couple of hours, hit the streets and walk to two more historic taverns.
