Fabulous Local Food Experience -recommend - Walking tour of working class neighborhood that has lots of “off the beaten path,” family food and beverage establishments, steeped in Americana. Our guide Chuck is a local who shares the local-enjoyable experience all around. Things to know: walking shoes better than heels, there are bathrooms and places to sit along the tour. Plenty to satisfy re the “little bit of this… little bit of that” food we ate. Our favorites tomato pie and cannoli … but there’s banh mi sandwich, gelato, taco… skip breakfast the morning you tour. This is a bit of Philly history away from the known American Revolution.

Tour of Italian Market Treasures - Shelley was so kind and informative and attentive to what we wanted to do along the tour such as spending time shopping at our stops. Shelley provided a great deal of interesting history about our various destinations and other locales along the walk. The food was incredible and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with Shelley as our guide.

A WONDERFUL STROLL IN PHILLY - We took a wonderful Art Tour with Shelley Chatterjee of WeVenture. She is a very nice lady that took us around Philly showing us murals and giving us historical background about the neighborhoods. We also got to stop in at a gallery to look at paintings and even stopped at a local “Water Ice” shop to try a frozen treat. At the end of the tour she brought us to an Ah Inspiring place!!! Philadelphia's Magic Gardens which was an excellent and harmonious experience to have in Philly. A perfect way to end a tour. Thank you Shelly.

Left us wanting more - To start with our tour guide was excellent. His name was Adam, and he took us to places we would’ve never known existed, and they weren’t just for food which was super nice. It was the tour of the Italian market yet the only Italian food that we had was 1/2 of a cannoli and 1/2 of a piece of tomato pie. We had two Mexican stops, and one Korean stop. This was not what we expected, variety is nice, but expected more Italian food while exploring the Italian market. Portions were small we had to split a piece of tomato pie and we had to split a cannoli. If you’ve ever tried to eat 1/2 of an cannoli, it’s extremely messy, and my son and husband were looking for food when the tour was over. I was comfortably full. For what we paid, I think full portions would’ve been better
