What sets this tour apart is its focus on what’s subtly omitted from National Park Service exhibits. It highlights stories that add complexity to the narrative and details that don’t fit neatly into patriotic legends. This is history before it becomes sanitized.
This tour is intentionally kept small—limited to just a few participants—because these discussions deserve more than a loudspeaker and a crowd. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and explore the reality of who these men were, as opposed to who we’ve wanted them to be.
Small group. Big conversations. The history they’re leaving out.
