Exactly what we were looking for! - Our guide was named 'V' and he did a fantastic job guiding us through historic Philadelphia. V was very knowledgeable about the city and the rich history of the buildings on the tour. We appreciated the fact that this tour stopped by all the important historic locations and provided interesting information on each. Then, afterwards we were able to go and visit the sites we wanted to view more in-depth. on our own. At the end of the tour also offered some local lunch suggestions to the group. We were very pleased with our day in Philly!

Great Tour for Anyone - Connor was outstanding -- pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable -- one of the best guides any in our group ever had. All of us learned so much -- even the native Philadelphia prof. Without much walking, you'll cover a great deal of historical ground. Totally recommend this tour for visitors and locals alike.

Worth it! - Had Joseph as my tour guide! I really appreciated his lighthearted and honest approach to the history on tour, taking care to mention when the stories preserved through time might have a certain bias one way or another towards it. Definitely come prepared with hydration; plenty of breaks along the tour, but you don’t want to end up being the one holding everyone back because you’re stuck in a 7-11 line!

This is a walking tour... - This is a walking tour and you will walk but there are enough stopping points to catch your breath. Plenty of historic sites and information.

Walking History Tour Philly - I thought the tour was two hours but was only 1:35/45 minutes. I also didn’t realize the tour didn’t allow us to see the liberty bell up/close. Our guide, PJ, was very nice but somewhat subdued.

Disappointing - Our guide was quite quirky and seemed to enjoy performing more than informing. It was, unfortunately, one of the worst walking tours we’ve booked through Viator.
