Philly/Amish Country 2024 - My only complaint is that there were some others who were late and it caused the entire group to leave about 20 minutes late. Personally, I feel it should be a 10 minute max wait but the driver was trying to be understanding and he did apologize. After that rough start, the experience was great! Our guide, Tom, was very helpful, personable, knowledgable and willing to help make our experience pleasant. Just an FYI - its not the most "entertaining" trip - it is just learning about another group of people so if you are looking for some kind of excitement, this probably isn't the trip for you.

Amish guided tour - Tom was excellent, informative and friendly! The goat milk store was wonderful. The lunch buffet might be the best kept secret of the area.

An interesting and informative day trip in a dirty van with a great driver/guide - An interesting day trip from Philadelphia - having already seen all that we wanted to see in the city. We met our engaging guide/driver Marty and eight other in the group and got into the van. The weather was fine and warm, but the van was dirty, inside and out, which was disappointing, especially for a day trip costing $179 per person. We learned a lot from visiting the places and meeting the people that we did and took plenty of pictures (from a distance). We were tired by the time we returned to Phila at 5 pm after hitting a lot of traffic on the return journey.
