We visited the Wharton Esherick Museum for a second time and enjoyed it immensely. This time we invited friends to join us and we kept the destination a surprise so they would not know what to expect until we arrived. They were thoroughly impressed and delighted. The woodwork is so smooth, so fluid, warm and welcoming. We will be returning again, I'm sure.

Total serendipity! My husband and I live in Nyack, NY and Owen, our younger son, lives in Baltimore. A few months ago Owen suggested that we meet half-way, which has been a great way to keep in touch without either one of us driving the whole distance. I googled to find a good place to meet this time and found the museum, never expecting it to be as inspiring as we found it to be. There were 6 in our group -- my husband and me, our son and his sweetheart, and her parents -- and we were all entranced. We plan to come back on 2nd Sunday and spend more time. Our docent was Julie -- very knowledgeable and welcoming. Such a pleasure in every way! Now I want to learn more about Wharton Esherick.

My visit was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The guide was very informative (and very patient with all of our questions). The scenery is breathtaking and level of thought that was placed in the house/museum is truly exceptional. Finally, everyone there was very welcoming and appeared genuinely happy to be there!
