Kruger National Park - On the first day, your expert field guide, Steven, will pick you up from your hotel or airport and transport you to the Phalaborwa gate. Once inside the park, the enchanting 5-hour drive begins. We proceed to Setara Camp, renowned for its abundance of big cats and apex predators.
After checking in, your guide will prepare a traditional African BBQ, known locally as a braai. You’ll have the opportunity to hear and possibly see Kruger’s predators while your meal sizzles on the grill.
Following dinner and a long day, you’ll enjoy a restful night in your two-sleeper safari chalet.
Skukuza
Skukuza - After a restful night, enjoy a hearty full English breakfast before heading into the park for a 5-hour drive to our next destination, the world-famous Skukuza Rest Camp. As the first camp established in Kruger, it is celebrated for its rich wildlife, and the Big Five are often visible from the restaurant deck and perimeter fence.
Once checked in, we’ll head to the restaurant for an early dinner, allowing you to embark on a night drive in an open safari vehicle with one of the camp’s rangers. This is your chance to observe the big cats at their most active and spot the elusive nocturnal animals not seen during the day.
Lower Sabie
All Good Things Come to an End
Kruger National Park - On our final morning, you’ll rise early for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, walking among Africa’s Big Five with the protection of two armed rangers. This 3-hour walk offers the chance to see tracks and signs not visible from a vehicle.
After your walk, return to camp for a well-deserved breakfast prepared by your guide.
Following breakfast, we’ll pack up and begin the journey back to your hotel or airport, taking a leisurely drive through the park to savor its beauty and hopefully spot any animals missed over the past three days.
