Very worthwhile and fun! - We arrived in Perugia after spending time in much smaller towns in the Umbria region. Since Perugia felt so much bigger, we felt a little lost! We knew there was much to see, but we couldn't find the (well hidden) tourist information office to get more information. We finally discovered an app called Perugia in App that I downloaded. I have to say, it was so poorly done that it was useless. So I went onto Trip Advisor to see if I could find a walking tour and I discovered this self-guided version created by Matteo. It was great! Not only did we see everything we wanted to see, but it was super easy to use, very informative and fun! I would highly recommend it!

Recommended - Easy and pleasant for all audiences although it is a city with many snowfalls. You can go at your own pace and it gives you an idea of everything you can see.

Perugia audio tour - This walking tour of Perugia is a great economical way to learn about and see the historical sights and churches of the city at your own pace. All the important areas to visit are included along with the history and directions to the next listing. It also includes recommendations for eating and a discussion of the famous chocolate baci. I would definitely recommend this audio tour of Perugia.

Very Helpful Guide-Well Worth It! - The audio guide was a very helpful and inexpensive way to see the major sites of central Perugia. We read guide more than listened but both convenient. More actual street directions would have been nice as I resorted to Google Maps for precise directions but map with guide pointed us in the general direction just fine. All in all well worth it and it allowed sight seeing at your own pace.

Great self tour, easy tech and an enjoyable experience! - We loved this self tour of Perugia. The tech worked perfectly (reading and listening), covered all the main wires with a good level of detail, a map was provided and links to googlemap that were super helpful, and we enjoyed the extra info and recommendations on regional foods. Beats a real guide which is certainly more expensive and not usually very interactive. This allowed us to go at our own pace, take breaks and slips bits we didn't fancy. Highly recommend :)

Self guided walking tour - My husband and I opted for the self guided audio tour because we want to go at our own pace and stop along the way if we wanted to. We downloaded it at our Airbnb and began the tour at the suggested starting point. It was very good and informative, and the pictures were helpful to make sure we were looking at the right landmarks. It was helpful to have their prices and times of opening of the museums. The only challenge with the self guided tour was getting from one place to another. We had to leave the app and put in the next destination in our Google maps. And one of the churches - that was suggested was a mile walk- The Basicala of San Lorenzo was closed when we got there - and we went on a Sunday ! But neither the app nor the web site listed hours and it was our chance we took. Otherwise - it was good - just try and have all the landmarks in your maps before you begin as it will save you time from each destination!
