Sacred Valley of the Incas - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Cusco at 7:00 am. The journey begins with a drive to the Sacred Valley, with the first stop at the village of Chinchero. This charming town is renowned for its vibrant textile creations. During the visit, participants will discover the traditional methods used by artisans to craft and dye their textiles. The tour also includes a visit to the town’s main square, featuring stunning colonial architecture built atop ancient Inca ruins.
Salinas de Maras - The next destination is the Salt Mines of Maras, utilized by locals since Inca times. Legend has it that the salt originates from the tears of the mythical hero Ayar Cachi, who was trapped by his brothers inside a nearby mountain. Maras boasts approximately 3,000 salt wells, sourced from the Qaqawiñay mountain. This site produces the prized “Pink Salt,” known for its unique hues due to the minerals in the soil.
Moray - Moray consists of a series of circular agricultural terraces near Maras. Experts suggest that the Incas used this site as a research center for cultivating plants from various regions. Some historians also propose that Moray served as a center for astronomical observations and weather prediction.
Ollantaytambo - After lunch, the journey continues through the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas. The next stop is the Inca fortress of Ollantaytambo, notable for its massive stone structures, some reaching 4 meters in height. Ollantaytambo also features numerous terraces surrounding the site, visible from the nearby town. The exploration of the impressive Ollantaytambo will last until the afternoon, followed by a train ride to Aguas Calientes.
Aguas Calientes - Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, guests will be escorted to their hotel. There will be time to relax and prepare for the following day.

Machu Picchu - The following day begins with an early bus ride to Machu Picchu. After a brief 30-minute journey, the group will arrive at the Inca citadel. The staff will provide a guided tour of the citadel, assisting at the security checkpoints at the entrance. Nestled in the heart of the Peruvian Andes near the Amazon basin, Machu Picchu was constructed in the 15th century and later abandoned after the Spanish conquest. Rediscovered in 1911 by American explorer Hiram Bingham, Machu Picchu is renowned for its exquisite stone buildings, exemplifying Inca architecture. After the tour, guests are free to explore the citadel independently.
Aguas Calientes - Upon returning to Aguas Calientes, guests can explore the quaint town. Options include dining at various restaurants or sampling local dishes at the market.
