- Sacred Valley of the Incas - Guests will be collected from their hotel between 5:30 am and 6:00 am and transported to the community of Lago Piuray, near the town of Chinchero (approximately one hour of travel). The adventure begins here, at an elevation of 11,800 feet (3,600 meters).
The trek starts with a 3-hour ascent, reaching Piuray passage at an altitude of 13,400 feet (4,100 meters). Participants will be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Urubamba mountain range and the small lagoons below.
- Huchuy Qosqo - The journey continues with a 2-hour descent to the Huchuy Qosqo ruins, a magnificent Inca city located in the Sacred Valley. The name of the ruins in Quechua means “Little Cuzco.” A guide will lead the group through this enchanting archaeological site, followed by time to enjoy a provided box lunch.
Afterward, there is a steep 2-hour descent to the town of Lamay. The transport service will collect the group and drive them to Cuzco, concluding the trip between 5 and 6 pm.

- Physical Requirements: This hike is Moderate - The uphill portions require moderate to good physical condition and are most difficult as we reach the high pass at 4000m. After crossing the high pass, there is a steep descent (approx. 4 hours), during which we recommend using trekking poles for stability and to reduce strain on the knees.
