Between 3:30 am and 4 am, participants will be picked up directly from their hotel to begin the journey to Qollasuyu, situated south of Cusco city. The initial drive lasts approximately 1.5 hours, followed by a 20-minute stop in the district of Cusipata (3310 meters above sea level). Here, a delightful breakfast awaits at a local restaurant. The journey then continues for another hour to Fulawasipata (4660 meters above sea level), where the route details will be discussed. At the base of the sacred Ausangate mountain, the hike begins. The ascent to Rainbow Mountain, or Vinicunca (5200 meters above sea level), takes about 2 hours, offering the chance to admire diverse landscapes along the way.
