However, its original name is “Vinicunca”. Visiting this mountain range evokes indescribable emotions. The plateaus, streams, valleys, high plains, and snow-capped peaks add to its grandeur, along with the presence of animals such as camelids, birds, sheep, and the local people whose infectious happiness captivates visitors.
Our journey begins at 4:00 am towards the village of Cusipata (a two-hour trip) where we will enjoy a hearty breakfast. We will then continue through beautiful valleys, small canyons, and impressive pre-Inca terraces until we reach the Community of Cusipata.
The adventure starts with a stunning view of Apu Ausangate. After an introduction from our guide, we will begin our hike. The ascent is gradual and will take approximately two hours. Along the way, we will see a variety of South American camelids such as alpacas and llamas, as well as birds, lagoons, valleys, streams, and snow-capped peaks.
After hiking for about six kilometers, we will finally arrive at the Seven Colors or Rainbow Mountain. This unique and magical place was whimsically formed by nature. After enjoying a peaceful moment in contact with nature, we will begin our return to the village of Cusipata where we will have our lunch.

The Amazing Rainbow Mountain - It is a very recommended trip, and the owner Mr. Arturo is a person to be trusted and cared for!

Although at four o'clock in the morning, I started in my sleep, but because of the "four wheels moving beach car" assistance, plus 10 minutes of walking, let me climb the Rainbow Mountain at the height of 5036!
I went up the mountain and was terrified by a massive fog, my heart felt unpleasant, sad and unpleasant, I couldn't see it, I couldn't see it, but I was instantly surprised, because the fog was dispersed, the clear imprint of the rainbow mountain in front of my eyes, the colorful "rainbow" was amazed, although the Dan Xia landscape had also been seen, but so many colors symmetry, the clear line Dan Xia landscape is the first sight!

Mountain of Colors , Great Experience !! - We get to know the Mountain of 7 colors in the company of my friends, the organization of this experience is assumed by Reserv Cusco we get it by the recommendations of the Lonely Planet.
Good to tell them that it is an excursion where you need to be in good physical condition although there is the option to make the ride clear paying extra,-
We had a sunny day , with blue skies and we could well distinguish the mountain that is sensational by the way!.
The agency put us to the guide Marcos who was very attentive, we were also given walking sticks...

Unique experience..! - I wanted to get to know the mountain of 7 colors, by recommendation of friends I approached office of Reserv Cusco.

Natural Beauty Mountain 7 colors - We got up very early , our guide stopped us to pick us up 04.30 HRS, it is really very cold, however it was worth the sacrifice we were an exceptional day where we could clearly observe this natural wonder, the mountain of seven colors, we highly valued the support of our guide who provided us with a rich coke matte for height.
