Easy and very beautiful - Incredible tour and very affordable due to the ATVs, very little effort to get to the summit and take great photos.

Amazing tour! - Had an absolutely amazing time on this tour. Our guides were great and riding the atvs was so much fun. A very short walk to beautiful rainbow mountain. I have traveled all over but this was probably one of the best tours I have ever done. Absolutely recommend.

Rainbow Mountain - The views were amazing. A long trip from Cusco but was worth the time. ATV's are the way to go with only a short climb to the best views. You can feel the altitude at being at 16,500 feet.

Definitely a once in a... - Definitely a once in a lifetime experience, there is nothing like it. I was fearful of the high altitude with my asthma but with short breaks I was fine it was amazing.

Challenger! - A huge challenge to get to the top of the trail, but also extremely gratifying to see the mountain from above! Amazing feeling!

I loved all the tours, but the Laguna Humantay was the most special! What an amazing place! - I just loved all the tours! Machu Picchu is magical and full of history, the Colorful Mountain is a spectacle of nature, the 7 Lagunas surprise us with their beauty at every stop... but, without a doubt, my favorite tour was the Laguna Humantay. The color of the water, the energy of the place and the views of the surrounding mountains are breathtaking! It was a special moment of connection with nature and myself. All the tours were very well organized and worth every step of the walk!

Friendly guides, cute alpacas. If it snows, can't see rainbow and scary ride up - Guides were kind and helpful. The breakfast and lunch was good and was clean, with lots of buffet options to pick from. Tour bus was clean, modern and comfortable, with fairly prompt pick up. At the top, there are reasonably priced ponchos and rubber bootie covers for sale, along with snacks and bathrooms. There are cute llamas/alpacas to take pictures with. I would say 5 stars for that part. I gave 4 stars because we felt like this tour company should give more attention to safety and should take into consideration if the view you are paying to see is even visible and let you know ahead of time if that day's weather forecast will negatively affect your tour. Something to consider if you find out its going to snow... the view is covered in snow and all white as far as the eye can see, so its 1 color (white) instead of a Rainbow. After we were already on the way there, we were told there is an 80% chance of Not seeing the view of the rainbow mountain in January because of snowy weather. I know they can't control weather, but we would have liked to be told that before leaving. Also, the second half of the bus ride after breakfast is mostly a one lane dirt road, snaking sharply back and forth to the top along a steep drop off for about an hour ... That can be a normal part of traveling in the Andes, but something to be aware of if you are afraid of that sort of thing. The safety concern we have is because it was snowing, the steep road was snow/slush covered most of the way, and also flooded/washed out in two areas with a rapidy river flowing over it into the drop-off that we had to drive through; it was a very treacherous ride even for experienced travelers. Also, once we got to the ATVs, they could barely drive because the snow was so slippery. If we had known ahead of time how snow affects the tour, we would have canceled. In fact, a tour guide from a different company who we had at Machu Picchu a few days later said he lead a Rainbow Mountain tour group the same day we went, and they took their group elsewhere because it was too dangerous that day and that the 7 color view was not visible at all. It would have been nice to have been offered a similar option or at least been made aware of conditions before getting picked up that day. If the weather forecast is good, I would recommend this tour.

Gary needs HeadPHONES!!! - The experience at Rainbow Mountain was great. The issues was the tour guide Gary as he didn't provide much info and the entire way he would keep his phone on LOUD and be watching TIKTOK or some non sense. Gary needs a headphone because I was toward the rear of the van and it sound was SOOOO loud that it seemed like Gary was sitting next to me. Image listening to TIKTOK for the ENTIRE RIDE. The meals offer was HORRIBLE and was NOT warm and alot of folks were concerns about getting sick.

Underwhelmed - The tour made it to the mountain and back so that was good. Check out real photos to gauge the real look. The mountain is in a beautiful location and the last hour in is very scenic and interesting. Remember that the last hour comes after and before 3 hours on a bus. The 30 minute quad ride is more like 10 minutes up and down on well used quads guided by less than friendly or safe individuals. One guy in our party was clipped by a guide spinning a quad into line. The bus we were in had faulty air conditioning and a bad transmission slowing the ride out and forcing us to back down and around high mountain switchbacks to get a run. The trip was OK but be prepared for a long uncomfortable day in a rough bus. Also be prepared for cold and windy. Was sleeting and a bit of rain while we were there and you need to be wrapped up.

Amateur approach, to be avoided - Low safety measures (if any) and amateur approach in a demanding set up. The ATVs were given to people with no prior experience and the guidance was poor and mainly in Spanish. The road to the rainbow mountain is difficult, narrow, full of road bumps and next to a cliff. The vehicle was not functioning properly ( turned off often, problematic breaks). They allowed people to drive even during heavy snow storm. There are no appropriate facilities (clean, available) for the visitors on the site. As an experienced driver (car, motorcycle), i cannot recommend this to anyone - let alone families with kids which were allowed to do so in such weather conditions. In a nutshell, amateur and dangerous approach.
