- Vinicunca Mountain - At a pre-arranged time, the operator will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to head towards Collasuyo, located south of the ancient Inca capital (Cusco), which was part of the Tawantinsuyo (the four ancient regions of the Incas). The first stop will be after a 2-hour drive (78km) at the community of Paucarpata (CUSIPATA), where there will be a chance to rest and purchase water, energy drinks, snacks, cereals, etc., and also enjoy a buffet-style breakfast. The journey will then continue by transport for about 1 hour to reach the base camp of PHULAWASIPATA, where preparations will be made for a hike, an ascent of approximately 2 hours (3.5km). Along this route, there will be the opportunity to see the impressive Hatun Ritti glacier (4825m), various types of South American camelids, and the stunning landscape reflections accompanied by the Puka Qocha and Qomer Qocha lagoons.
Upon reaching the Rainbow Mountain, there will be ample time to take photos of this enigmatic and incredible place. Afterwards, the group will return to the base camp, descending for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (3.5km), where transportation will be taken back to Paucarpata to enjoy a delicious lunch. Finally, around 6 PM, the group will arrive back in the imperial city of Cusco, where the operator will take you to your hotel.

Amazing and Surreal Visual Experience in the Colorful Mountain - Visiting the Colorful Mountain was an unforgettable experience, but the challenge of altitude is real.
Since I did not intend to make the complete walk, I chose to ride a bike and it was the best decision: the journey is super fast and practical. The personnel who make the transport is extremely attentive and helpful, which passes a lot of safety. And it is important to warn that even if you do not walk all the time, the altitude tired the body quite a bit. There is a final stretch, a final summit to get to the highest point, which I ended up not climbing because of the physical fatigue and the rarefied air. However, even without reaching this peak, the view from where I stopped is simply wonderful and very well worth it.
I highly recommend the walk, but respect the limits of your body!

A color show!!! - One really challenging day, climbing to almost 5,000 meters of altitude to contemplate the spectacle of the colors, the composition of the minerals of the mountain was worth every effort, our guide was always present, guiding and passing information about the route.

Excellent experience! - Local is very beautiful, the experience with quadriciclo of a different touch, can take, so it is important to go prepared for the cold and with raincoat, which they always reinforce

I come back renewed, inspired and grateful for everything I've lived here. ✨ - Gratitude for having lived the power of the Colorful Mountain. Being here is witnessing the art of the Earth itself, colors that seem to paint the soul and a silence that speaks more than a thousand words. Every step to the top reminded me of my own strength, my ability to overcome limits and to see beauty even in altitude.
I am grateful for this experience that marked my heart. The Colorful Mountain is not just a place is a meeting with nature, with the sacred and with myself.

Colored Mountain - I must confess that I was very tense for the walk because the altitude is something that makes us fear. We made one stretch on foot and another on horse and I highly recommend because the final climb to the mountain has to be obligatory on foot. The colorful mountain is something very different from everything we have visited.

A challenging and unforgettable experience! - Climbing the Colorful Mountain was one of the most exciting experiences of our lives! Seeing the snow for the first time made the moment even more special. The climb was challenging, but we managed to get to the top with a lot of support from our guide, who was attentive and encouraged us all the time. The landscapes are simply stunning! Everything was very well organized, from transportation to care with the group. It was a day we will never forget!

You must see rainbow mountain! - We opted to visit Palccoyo , the lesser known Rainbow Mountain. The hike is a bit shorter and easier, but you still reach 5000 m. I recommend this hike, his particular mountain, if you are unsure if you can do the longer hike in this altitude. It is a very beautiful hike and a must-do.
I am giving it only 4 out of 5 because the logistics were not as good as in the other tours that we took. The van was in poor shape. The very charming guide had to double as driver which left less time for explanations. His English was not really great. The meals were acceptable, but not more than that. After we had returned to the hotel, I called our tour operator and advised him of our concerns.
Aside from these particular concerns, it is a super interesting tour.
