🌿 Unforgettable experience in the Amazon jungle with Ruth Expedition! 🌿
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) - The 4 days and 3 nights tour in the Amazon rainforest with Ruth Expedition was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! From the first to the last hour it was a succession of emotions, adventure and pure wonder.
We explored the jungle both day and night, looking for wild animals, insects and colorful birds, canoeing between rivers immersed in the most authentic nature. Sleeping in a tent in the heart of the forest was magical: the sound of animals, the starry sky and the feeling of being completely connected to nature are something I will never forget.
Special thanks go to our guide Eli, who was just fantastic! Always kind, very prepared and with an infectious enthusiasm. He was with me the whole trip, taught me a lot about the flora and fauna of the place and — most importantly — became a real friend.
Despite being in the heart of the jungle, I felt 100% safe at all times thanks to his professionalism and impeccable organization of the tour. Everything was taken care of in every detail, and you could feel the genuine passion of the team for what they do.
If you dream of an authentic, exciting and perfectly organized adventure in the Amazon rainforest, Ruth Expedition is the best choice you can make!

The best experience of my life - Hello I leave you my experience in the Amazon for if you want to live an adventurous experience full of nature and see things you will never forget this is the best the reserve of Pacaya Samiria is a sanctuary of animals and nature nothing tourist
Ruth is a great professional prepares you everything from start to finish and maja not the following lol
The experience is unique Roger who was my guide along with my biker Rusbel they take you in the boat explore the Amazon river and camp you and set up camp and feed you rich
explaining everything in detail
Day and night excursions are a wonder l nature of the Amazon and its animals are a sight the noises on starry nights the fireflies the birds butterflies monkeys 🦋

Impressive nature-loving tour in Pacaya Samiria National Park - Very exciting and impressive tour in Pacaya Samiria National Park in Peru in the Amazon. Here you get impressions that you hardly get anywhere else from plants biodiversity to animals in their natural habitat that you otherwise only get to see on TV or in the zoo like tarantulas, caimans or various monkey species. Ruth organized the tour perfectly and provided information in advance at all times. The guides around Carlos and Rony are from the Amazon region. They know plants, animals and the environment perfectly and you have many nice experiences with them we fish Piranha and then eat a fish soup. Really a wonderful experience and thank you so much for the passion that goes into this!

Immersive jungle.experience - We went to the Pacaya Samirya national.reserve with Ruth expedition. She is responsive and give a good service. You can trust her to orgamize the most immersive experience in the reserve. The nature is absolutely fabulous, the guide we had will show ypu how to use.the forest to fullfil basic needs in termsof food, meds, housing. We will attract or track animals and make your journey secure and memorable. Don't expect great confoet, that's not.the deal. But.enjoy the jungle.

The best experience you can have in the Amazon Forest - I don't even know where to start to describe the experience I had in the Jungle!
I was looking for something other than classic sightseeing tours where you sleep comfortably in lodges and thank God I found Ruth's tour.
I spent 3 nights and 4 days in the forest and could not wish for a better experience!
If you are looking for a tour with classic amenities, this is not for you.
This experience is real, authentic. You immerse yourself in the true nature of the Forest.
You sleep in a tent, immersed in the sounds of nature.
There are no comforts. No showers, no baths.
Washing in the river. You eat sitting on the boat.
Every day we go canoeing and walking in the forest, looking for animals.
Roger, our guide, was the added value of this adventure.
He is a very knowledgeable person and knows the forest impeccably. He knows every sound, every plant and can really explain all the secrets and magic of the forest. A guide like that, makes the experience even more incredible.
There was no shortage of laughter and fun!
If you want to live the experience of the real Selva, the non-tourist one, the real one, which makes you come into full contact with nature, this is the expedition for you!
I cannot thank you enough for the amazing experience.

Amazing!!! - I came across Ruth’s office while walking through the streets of Iquitos. She clearly and warmly explained the tours she offers.
I can only recommend her services – I spent 4 days in the Amazon rainforest with Eli and Romane, who were fantastic guides.
Ruth went above and beyond: she was attentive, gave me plenty of advice, and directed me to the best places in the city.

A magical Amazon adventure that everyone should do once in a lifetime - Our four-day jungle tour was a truly magical and transformative experience, largely due to the exceptional people who guided our journey. From the moment we arrived in Iquitos, Ruth ensured we felt welcome and cared for. Her team's driver met us at the airport, providing a seamless transfer to the office to prepare for our trip.
Our adventure began promptly the next day when Ruth, along with our expert guides Frank and Ronnie, picked us up at 7:30 a.m. We traveled to Nauta, where we had the opportunity to visit a local market for last-minute supplies before boarding our boat and embarking on our river journey.
The accommodations were simple yet comfortable, and the food was consistently fresh, local, and delicious. Bottled water was always available, and we appreciated the focus on simple, high-quality provisions.
The wildlife was abundant and diverse. We were fortunate to see a wide variety of animals, birds, and insects. A truly breathtaking moment was witnessing the Milky Way in full view over the river, with fireflies illuminating the trees along the bank.
Our guides, Frank and Ronnie, were outstanding. Their extensive knowledge and professionalism made us feel incredibly safe, while their humor and kindness created a fun and relaxed atmosphere.
This trip exemplifies ecotourism at its best. It effectively supports the local community and operates with minimal environmental impact. We left feeling completely overwhelmed by the profound beauty and wonder of the Amazon.
We extend our sincere thanks to Ruth, Frank, Ronnie, and our boatman for providing what was truly one of the most magical experiences of our lives.

the jungle and its magic - We went to the jungle for 4 days and 3 nights with Ruth's company, they were the best days or rather my best vacations, sleeping in the middle of the jungle in a tent is an experience that everyone should experience at least once in their life and believe me you will not regret it, the guide and the motorcyclist are very knowledgeable about the Amazon, everything was well organized they always worried that we were well and the truth is that my brothers and I always felt safe and secure with the guide, I have What to say please to each visitor, let the guide do his job, only we should enjoy what the jungle gives us, I thank Ruth for all her advice and help and for organizing an excellent tour for us. I recommend Ruth's company Amazon Expeditions, the truth is you are going to have a wonderful time

Unique jungle that I will never forget - From the moment I arrived in Iquitos I felt Ruth's kindness, she is attentive to everything, I was surprised that she knew that I was allergic to onion once I told her but that was almost at the beginning of when she was informing me about the tour before I made the tour reservation, from there I never commented again, but Ruth said I know you are allergic to onion, don't worry, the guide knows what not to use, she is a genius, she can't miss it. And in the jungle everything was as Ruth explained to me, the guide Daniel is a legend, a jaguar knows everything, he makes you see the animals where you only saw trees, the food was fresh and delicious, every day there was something different, I recommend Ruth's company to everyone, you will not regret it, on the contrary, her team and she will give you an unforgettable tour, thank you for making my vacation the best of my life.

Incredible Tour, but a Serious Incident on Day 3 - I recently did a 4-day tour with Ruth Expeditions in Iquitos, and overall, it was an unforgettable experience—up to a point.
The first couple of days were fantastic. The itinerary was well-organized, the lodge was comfortable, the food was great, and we saw amazing wildlife. Our guide was knowledgeable and seemed very experienced, which made us feel like we were in good hands.
However, on the third day, things took a dangerous turn. What was supposed to be a short 1-hour jungle hike turned into a 20-hour ordeal after our guide went off-trail and got lost. We were deep in the Amazon with no communication, limited supplies, and no clear plan for how to get back. It was exhausting, stressful, and honestly very frightening.
Eventually, we made it back safely, but the situation was extremely serious and could have ended much worse. I hope the company reviews its safety protocols and ensures that guides stick to approved trails or are better equipped for emergencies (no satellite).
This review is not to diminish the great parts of the tour, because there were many—but people booking this trip deserve to know the full picture. With better precautions, this could have been a 5-star experience.
