Perth to Kalbarri National Park

Perth - Embark on a journey along Western Australia’s Coral Coast, celebrated for its breathtaking natural landscapes, diverse wildlife, and beautiful beaches. Marvel at sand dunes so white they resemble snow. Departing from Perth, the journey heads north towards the Pinnacles.

The Pinnacles - Begin the adventure with a guided tour through The Pinnacles desert, followed by a seaside lunch, then travel along Indian Ocean Drive for spectacular coastal views. Walking distance is approximately 1.5km.

Geraldton - Make a brief stop in Geraldton, and if time allows, visit the seasonal pink lake (not guaranteed).

Kalbarri - Continue to the coastal town of Kalbarri for overnight accommodation.

Kalbarri National Park to Monkey Mia, Shark Bay

Kalbarri - Explore the wonders of The Murchison Gorge, Nature’s Window, and Z-Bend in Kalbarri National Park, where water has sculpted the sandstone. There is an option to try abseiling (additional cost). Experience vibrant colors during the wildflower season (spring). Walking distance is approximately 3km.

Nature’s Window - Capture a memorable photo at Nature’s Window before walking along a beach composed entirely of tiny shells.

Monkey Mia, Shark Bay to Coral Bay

Coral Bay and Ningaloo Reef

Ningaloo Reef - Take a beach stroll and visit the shark nursery, swim with manta rays (additional cost), or snorkel on the Ningaloo Reef just meters from the shore.

Exmouth - In the evening, take a short drive up the peninsula to Exmouth and settle into accommodation for two nights in the town center.

Cape Range National Park - Discover Cape Range National Park, a stunning area of rugged limestone ranges, impressive deep canyons, and 50km of unspoiled beaches. Walking distance is approximately 1km.

Turquoise Bay - Unwind on the beach or opt for snorkeling at the beautiful Turquoise Bay (snorkel hire $10 with a bond required).

Vlamingh Head Lighthouse - Visit Vlamingh Head Lighthouse, relax at Milyering Visitors Center, and more before concluding the tour in the late afternoon.

Ningaloo Reef - Alternatively, join a whale shark or humpback whale snorkel tour to encounter some of Ningaloo Reef’s most renowned visitors (own expense and seasonal). Certified divers who have dived in the last 6 months can also choose the Navy Pier dive option (own expense).

Exmouth

Exmouth - Bid farewell to fellow travelers, as this marks the end of the group journey.

• ​​​​A minimum moderate level of fitness is required to complete the walks. Therefore a medium/high level of fitness is required and a doctor’s certificate is required for people over 70 years (30 days prior to travel).
• ​​​​The tour operator must be notified of any known medical conditions at the time of booking. This is a very physical tour and requires a moderate level of fitness and mobility.
• ​​​While we endeavour to cater to most dietary needs, passengers must advise dietary requirements to their booking agent at the time of booking. As we are venturing to remote areas we are very limited in what we can source once the tour departs, therefore prior notice is required.
• ​This itinerary may vary to adapt to seasonal changes. As safety is our top priority we plan accordingly to ensure our guests have the most fun and best experience possible while on tour.
• ​​Children aged between 6 to 17 years old must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian at all times. Not suitable for infants or children 5 years and under, due to safety requirements and the level of fitness required to complete the walk.
• ​​​Please ensure you have checked the average temperatures for the time of year you are travelling and have packed adequate clothing.
• ​​Guests are asked to participate in the preparation of meals, clean up and vehicle unpacking/loading, so everyone can relax together after a long day of touring. It’s also a great way to get to know and connect with your fellow travellers.
