Cafe Bonaparte
-
Grab a breakfast of omelets or crepes at this quaint European cafe. The off-the-menu nutella latte is excellent for someone with an early sweet tooth.
Alternatively, Kafe Leopold (a modern Viennese style coffeehouse) and Farmers Fishers Bakers (casual first bake on weekdays, brunch buffet on weekends) both
serve up delicious breakfasts.

Baked & Wired
- This trendy cafe is home to the best coffee in Georgetown as well as an excellent array of quirky cupcakes and baked goods. You can't go wrong with any choice there. Don't like coffee? Their iced teas and iced chai lattes are excellent. If you aren't getting baked goods, skip the long weekend line and head inside to the right to place your order. Located on Jefferson St.

Boating in DC - Key Bridge
- Jack's Boathouse (located under Key Bridge on Water street) rents out kayaks and paddle boards. The monuments can be a bit far from this point, but head downstream to check out the eerily calm Roosevelt Island or upstream toward peaceful rocks and nature.

Farmers Fishers Bakers
-
This restaurant on the waterfront is a crowd pleaser with options for all - sushi, tacos, gumbo, burgers... Order strategically because appetizers and dessert are some of the best this restaurant has to offer.
Take some time while waiting on reservations or a post-food coma walk down the waterfront boardwalk and toward the park.

The Tombs
- Consistently rated one of the best college bars, The Tombs is a rustic rowing themed basement bar/restaurant. A great place sit in a booth and enjoy a pitcher or tear it up on their small, but lively dance floor. Warning: past age 22 you may be one of the oldest inside.
