A Slice Of Paradise

kihei caffe
Locals know this place is worth waiting for (they only have room for maybe 8 people to sit at a time!). Everything is delicious, but that's not helpful. so when in Hawaii, indulge in the banana macadamia nut pancake stack! yum!
Beaches
The whole point for being here is to park your butt on one of these amazing beaches. They're everywhere, but the Charley Young Beach is one of my favourites. It's a bit difficult to find - which makes it less crowded. Plus there are some awesome lava rocks there with some tidal pools to explore when you're done sunning.
Snorkel and Whale Watching Tour from Ma'alaea
catch one of the afternoon charters to see the whales up close and personal! gotta do this at least once.
Cheeseburger in Paradise
I think the name speaks for itself...
Whalers Village
It's a little outdoor mall where you can wander, see other people, soak up some culture (they have performances sometimes of locals doing cultural things). Don't forget to grab a drink with an umbrella in it and stare out into the sunset.
barefoot bar and grill
good drinks, sand beneath your toes, a view you'll be hard to find at home...that's why the barefoot bar at Hula Grill is so awesome. Plus the ice cream sandwich bar is just a decadent treat you have to enjoy at least once during your stay.
I would stay at: The Westin Maui Resort & Spa, Ka'anapali
um...they have pink flamingos in the lobby and a fabulous pool. what else do you need?
