Ricky's Perfect Days

Whisky And Wine Enthusiast's Dream

    • Morning
      • Breakfast at Kilmaurs Guest House

      • Start the amazing day with traditional Scottish breakfast at this homely guest house! Should you arrive later in the day, tea and fresh cookies shall await you in your room.
      • Walk down the Royal Mile and Visit Adam Smith's Statue

      • The Royal Mile is full of shops with surprises. Also the Adam Smith's Statue is worth paying a tribute to as he completed the most important literature in Economics while in Edinburgh.
    • Afternoon
      • Learn about Whisky at the Scotch Whisky Experience

      • A great place to learn the history and ways to appreciate the fascinating drink.
    • Evening
      • Bus up to Leith and Enjoy the View

      • After an eventful day, bus up north and prepare your tastebud for a greater journey!
    • Night
      • Dinner at Vintner’s Room

      • This is one of the most well hidden gem in Edinburgh. A fine Italian restaurant with amazing food and a jaw dropping collection of over 1500 whiskys and rare wines. Ask the manager for pairing suggestions!
      • Dessert Pairing with Aged Liqueurs

      • The great thing about Vintner's Room is that it not only has a great whisky collection, but also many other rare wines such as aged liqueurs. Ask for them, pair them with desserts, and prepare to be mind-blown.
      • Sample Rare Whisky and Wine at Vintner's Room

      • Whether you are into whisky, wine, armagnac, or other exotic liquors, this is the place to be. Personally, I would suggest trying the same whisky from different bottling year, or try a whisky as old as you!
