Beat the crowds by paying a morning visit to some of Europe's most riveting museums surrounding the Museumplein. Pick and choose from the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum or the Stedelijk Museum.

Buy your lunch at a local grocery store on the corner of the Museumplein and go for a stroll in the lovely Vondelpark, where you can stare at the crowds passing you by while you're savoring your picknick lunch.

Do as the Dutchies do and explore the UNESCO World Heritage grachtengordel (rings of canals) on your rental bike.

Drive your bike along the stately merchant houses lining the canals and pass by the Hermitage Museum and the Royal Theather Carre before shifting back from wheels to feet as your mode of transportation.

Before heading into Amsterdam's oldest neighborhood, dive into some of the picture perfect old cafe's to get a taste of some of the Nation's proud beers and gather some energy for the rest of the night.

Enjoy an exquisite dinner in the old world interior of The Dylan, one of Amsterdam's Michellin Star rated restaurants.

Go for an after-dinner stroll through the Red Light District in the heart of the old city center. Hop into one of the small bars between the 'windows with the red lights' to stare outside and laugh at all the passersby who are so desperately trying to look like they're not looking

Meet the locals in one of the countless bars surrounding the Leidseplein before finally heading to my favorite late night club, Club Air
