Greg's Perfect Days

Getting Lost In Barcelona

    • Morning
      • La Barceloneta

      • Wake up, catch the sun rising and go for a leisurely job down this gorgeous stretch of the Mediterranean. Or if I'm feeling a little sluggish from a long night out, catch a café con leche at a beachfront cafe.
      • Sagrada Família

      • I would start the late morning out by checking out La Sagrada Familia, one of the most architecturally unique structures in all of Europe, if not the world. From here head to another Guadi-famous spots...
    • Afternoon
      • Parc Güell

      • Parc Güell has to be on of the most enchanting areas of Barcelona. The park is like walking onto the set of an adventurous children's movie. Arguably the best views in the city, Parc Güell is beautiful from all angles. Get lost in the many facades this place has to offer before wandering back to your accommodation for the traditional mid-afternoon Spanish siesta. Naps are glorious anywhere, but especially in this city.
      • Plaça Reial

      • After waking up refreshed from that 3 hour siesta, time to get a move on. While Plaça Reial is famous for being a gorgeous square, its true draw is Les Quinze Nits. A restaurant with mouth-watering fish dishes and exquisite tapas. After filling up on some great food and bubbly cava, take a 10 second stride across the quad to Jamboree, a jazz club with live music in the early evening.
    • Evening
      • Picaso museo

      • Rather than turn right out of Plaça Reial and head back to the overcrowded (and possibly overrated) Les Rambles, turn left down Carrer de Ferran to hit the Picaso Museum. After wandering among PIcaso's famous works, its time for a stronger drink. Shots anyone? Time for Chupitos, the world famous shot bar.
    • Night
      • Sutton Club Barcelona

      • After a few too many shots that may have violated me, its time to head to the best club in Barcelona to dance until the sun comes up. Hellooooo SUTTON!
      • I would stay at: Hotel Arts Barcelona

      • Can't pass up waking up in a high rise on the Mediterranean.
