My travel cravings are for beaches and food. My earliest travel memory is of Thanksgiving in Paris when I was in 3rd grade. We sat on the steps of Sacre Coeur in our puffy 80s coats.

I would spend my perfect day in Philadelphia because it's a wonderful walking city, which is one of the easiest ways to see new places. My most memorable moment here was Live 8 in 2005. I was singing the theme song from "Fresh Prince" with Will Smith and thousands of other people at the top of my lungs in the middle of the Ben Franklin Parkway. The most romantic thing to do here is understand and enjoy the enormous history. I would stay at 1715 Rittenhouse when visiting Philadelphia because it's a boutique hotel on a quaint street in the heart of Center City.

Rittenhouse Square

The activities that can't be missed

1. Barnes Foundation—for obvious reasons.

2. Taking a long walk from Old City up toward Rittenhouse via Pine Street. Check the signs every now and then, you'll be amazed at what once was (and what still is) standing in this town.

3. The incredible BYO scene at restaurants here. Take advantage of the delicious meals you can have with your own wine.

Sabrina's Cafe

My favorite places to eat

1. Bistro La Baia—a hole-in-the-wall place with delicious and cheap pastas.

2. Amis—the cacio e pepe and cauliflower is insane

3. Sabrina's in the Italian Market neighborhood. Go for brunch if you can wait and get the french toast.

Liberty Bell

The places you should definitely see

1. The Schuykill Banks, a walking path along the River.

2. Elfreth's Alley.

3. The Liberty Bell, but see it from Chestnut Street as you walk down toward Old City.

Corner Foodery

My favorite hidden gems

1. Third Street Habit, an adorable clothing shop in Old City.

2. Please Touch Museum (with kids).

3. Corner Foodery for beer.
