Cleveland In A Day

Flying Fig
This is my favourite brunch in the whole city. Weekends. 11-3p. I recommend the Migas; it's a simple scramble, but the chorizo makes it the best item on the menu. After brunch, walk the neighbourhood, Ohio City.
West Side Market
A market says a lot about a city. It's a thing I like to check out everywhere I visit. In Cleveland's historic market you can purchase the same items chefs served on the tables of Cleveland's many restaurants.
The Cleveland Museum of Art
It's free and newly refurbished. Check out the brand new atrium and enjoy world class art. Bring your iPad along for a free guided tour.
Severance Hall
The building is beautiful as is the lake surrounding it. Take the time to walk around this area. Then pop into Severance Hall for a concert from our world famous orchestra!
The Greenhouse Tavern
East 4th Street is awesome in and of itself. Patio dining at its finest. Greenhouse Tavern has some amazing drinks and small plates that make for a perfect end to the evening. Not feeling the vibe here? You are on a street with many other options. My second favourite? Lola.
I would stay at: The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland
The Ritz is in a central location and in a historic building. It's at the heart of the city's public transport hub and in walking distance to many shops, bars, and restaurants.
