Canal Hopping In Amsterdam

Pancakes! Amsterdam
Hands down, without question, the best breakfast I have ever had. The traditional Dutch pancakes are unlike anything you've experienced, thin, warm, giant rounds of goodness. I recommend the deluxe veggie Dutch pancake with mushrooms, spinach, and pesto.
Anne Frank House
Do not miss this opportunity to see the historical secret annex of the Frank family. A moving and powerful experience. To avoid very long lines during the day, buy tickets in advance or get there 30-40 minutes before it opens.
Gartine
This beautiful little tea house is hidden down a small side street in the center of the city. Afternoon high tea makes the perfect getaway from a busy day of site seeing. Generous portions of exquisit tea cakes and sandwiches are the perfect accompaniment to a hot pot of tea. Try to sit up in the loft with a direct view of the chandelier and street below. A sublime experience.
Vondelpark
Amsterdam's equivalent to Central Park, this expansive and beautiful park has plenty of trails to walk, bike, and explore. The perfect place for a summer picnic or brisk autumn stroll.
Droog Amsterdam
One of the most incredible design stores I have visited, Droog is full of unique pieces of art, home decor, and fashion. An impressively curated collection for any design-minded visitor.
Begijnhof
One of the oldest inner courts of Amsterdam founded in the Middle Ages. A secret courtyard of old, beautiful homes in the center of the city that were originally lived in exclusively by single women who had taken a vow to the Catholic church.
Sama Sebo
One of the oldest and most famous Indonesian restaurants in Amsterdam their special is a RIJSTTAFEL (rice table) where you'll be served rice with an infinite number of side dishes full of enticing flavors. Certainly one of the most unique meals I have ever eaten, never in my life had I experienced so much food on the table at one time. Perfectly washed down with a Heineken.
I would stay at: Hotel JL No76
This trendy boutique hotel is conveniently located one block away from the Van Gogh Museum, Vondelpark, and high-end shipping street P.C. Hooftstraat. You'll feel both artsy and pampered as you enjoy the high design and nice amenities.
