• Saenger Theatre - Celebrating its centennial in April 2025, the Saenger Theatre was originally constructed in 1925 by the Saenger Entertainment Corporation as part of a vaudeville venue chain. It initially served as a silent movie theatre, complete with a pipe organ that remains operational today. The theatre later adapted to “talkie” films, but the rise of multi-screen cinemas and shopping malls led to a decline in business. Today, it thrives as a performing arts venue, hosting concerts, films, ballet, opera, symphonies, and more.
