Enjoy it, but stretch - This was an amazing and physical experience. It gave me the opportunity to see the training into capoeira. Make sure your cardio fitness is solid! I struggled because I’ve been in vacation mode drinking and having a good time. They also have live demonstrations, but I am leaving before the show.

Truly incredible experience. Highly recommend! - This experience was incredible! Such a fun class, the instructor really works you can pushes you whilst providing an introduction to Capoeira. The class was an hour long and photos and videos were provided. I would do this again in a heartbeat!

Review workshop capoeira percussion - The workshop was really great! Yasmin, who gave us the workshop, was very nice. She gave us space to practice and was patient, and at the same time she was driven and passionate. We played on different instruments and played and sang multiple rhythms, very cool and educational! We found it a really nice experience and are happy to get to know a music culture in this way. Thank you so much for this opportunity!!

Take this class! - Yasmin was amazing! She taught me so much about the history of capoeira as well as some beginner moves. She's super knowledgeable and kind and was happy to take our class at my pace. She answered all of my questions and was SO kind and patient. I felt honoured to take this class at the first official capoeira class in Brazil! Soooo cool

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A must-do in Salvador, history, sweat, and all the good vibes - Did the 9am beginner intro to capoeira class at Mestre Bimba's legendary school, the actual place where he himself taught. They still keep his bench there, which immediately sets the tone for how special this place is. We were a small class (5 people) and we started with an intro to the history and significance of Bimba and the school. How he created Capoeira Regional, how he was responsible not just for saving capoeira from persecution and likely extinction but for the complete 180 that Brazil did on the art form, turning it from something criminalized into a source of national pride, ultimately recognized by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage of humanity. Truly inspiring stuff, both the material itself and being in the very space where it all happened. Our instructor had been at the school for over 25 years and it showed. Talented, patient, and genuinely funny. That was the vibe of the whole class: fun and lighthearted while still keeping the pressure on to work out as much as you felt comfortable with. I ended up sweating buckets and having an absolute blast. 100% would recommend this to any visitors to Salvador, particularly at this school. Just be ready to sweat!

Amazing, must-do experience - Had an amazing time. The price was more than reasonable for such a great experience. The staff were phenomenal, and the class wasn’t too busy so it didn’t feel scary or uncomfortable. An absolute must in Salvador.
