- Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya - Located in Kelaniya, approximately 10km northeast of Colombo, Sri Lanka, the Kelaniya Temple is believed to have been established before the recorded history of Sri Lanka (since 543 B.C). It was renovated by Prince Uttiya, the brother of King Devanampiyatissa, following the arrival of Arahat Mahinda in 307 BC….
- Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya - Located in Kelaniya, approximately 10km northeast of Colombo, Sri Lanka, the Kelaniya Temple is believed to have been established before the recorded history of Sri Lanka (since 543 B.C). It was renovated by Prince Uttiya, the brother of King Devanampiyatissa, following the arrival of Arahat Mahinda in 307 BC. According to the Mahawansa, Prince Uttiya was the first to renovate the vihara and also constructed the initial residential quarters for Buddhist monks (Sanghawasa) there. The ancient temple faced destruction multiple times due to Dravidian invasions from Southern India, but it was consistently rebuilt. The medieval temple was destroyed by the Portuguese in 1510 and later reconstructed by King Kirthi Sri Rajasingha.

Seema Malaka, a Buddhist temple in Colombo, Sri Lanka, is primarily used for meditation and relaxation rather than worship. Located on Beira Lake, the temple was originally built in the late 19th century. Seema Malakaya offers a tranquil meditation site on Beira Lake, making it a unique destination when exploring Colombo.
- Viharamahadevi Park - Formerly known as Victoria Park, Viharamahadevi Park is a public park in Colombo, adjacent to the National Museum in Sri Lanka. It is the oldest and largest park in the Port of Colombo. Positioned in front of the colonial-era Town Hall building, the park is named after Queen Viharamahadevi, the mother of King Dutugamunu. The park was established on land donated to Colombo city by Charles Henry de Soysa during British rule and was initially named “Victoria Park” after Queen Victoria. During World War II, it was occupied by the British Army, with the Australian 17th Brigade based there. After the war, the park was restored and opened to the public in 1951. The Town Hall of Colombo serves as the headquarters of the Colombo Municipal Council and the office of the Mayor of Colombo. Located in front of Viharamahadevi Park, it is the meeting place for the elected municipal council, often referred to as the white house.
- Independence Square - Independence Hall is a national monument in Sri Lanka, built to commemorate the country’s independence from British rule, with the restoration of full governing responsibility to a Ceylonese elected legislature on February 4, 1948.
- Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre - Situated in Cinnamon Gardens, the Art Gallery, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH), and the Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre - Opera House.
