Great photos - Lots of opportunities for great photographs. Lots of people! It was very crowded, lots of tour buses. Lots of cute shops. Beautiful views.

Best Experience in Halifax - Absolutely amazing winter tour with Sam!
I’m so grateful that Sam offered to let me join the already-formed group on January 31st — without her kindness, I would’ve missed the best day of my trip. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about Nova Scotia. Thanks to her, we enjoyed Peggy’s Cove and Lunenburg in perfect sunshine, with almost no other tourists around, making the experience feel peaceful and magical. The whole group connected instantly because of her energy, and the day felt effortless, fun, and unforgettable. Truly the highlight of my time in Halifax — couldn’t recommend Sam more!

Wonderful Peggy’s Cove experience - Excellent experience, couldn’t have asked for more.
Visited so many places along the coast. Unfortunately the weather didn’t let us do the entire trip. Thanks Evan, it was more than we could have asked for.

Great Tour - Had a great day touring with Evan from Alternative Routes!
He was on time and super friendly and outgoing from the start. You can tell this young man has a passion for his job and educating his groups on many aspects of Halifax. The tour was a full day but worth every penny.
We had a great group in our van and Evan was helpful, patient and just a great guy all around.

Amazing day tour of Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg, Wolfville and interior Nova Scotia - Evan, our tour guide, was outstanding! He was very knowledgeable about the specific areas and had many great stories to share. He suggested stores and restaurants which were all outstanding! We were able to see Peggy's Cove, Queensland Beach, Lunenburg, Wolfville, the Bay of Fundy and parts of the interior of Nova Scotia. I highly recommend this day trip! So worth it!

Must-do day trip from Halifax - I have done this day trip on my last full day of a Trans-Canada trip and couldn't have wishes for a better conclusion. Evan was a super guide (and driver), providing us with a lot of interesting information and tips about what to look at/try out during the day. I greatly enjoyed the scenery at Peggy's Cove, the charming atmosphere of Lunenburg and nature in the Annapolis Valley. We have also made several small stops at interesting sites along our way. Everything was as advertised online and the size of our group was super compact. I recommend this trip (and company) wholeheartedly.

Amazing day in Nova Scotia - What an amazing tour it was! Hannah was the greatest tour guide one can have-such a nice person! She made the long ride really entertaining by being very chatty and interested in everyone’s story. We stopped at many beautiful places and being such a small group made it very intimate and fun. Thanks for this great adventure! Would do it again anytime!

Very very positive experience! - Full day touring quite a large part of Nova Scotia. Scenic drive between the different stops. Great opportunity to witness the change in colours of the trees in the autumn. The day was well balanced between driving time and visiting times. Our guide Evan was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the region, the fauna and flora, the local food and restaurant scene and many more subjects that filled our conversations during the day. He paced the tour really well, stopping at places that were planned in the tour description, but also stopping at lovely cafés and shops on the way for a taste of local products.
He gave us options for places to visit depending on individual participants' tastes during the tour and kindly shared great ideas to continue exploring Halifax after the tour. Altogether a very pleasant day and a safe drive to lovely spots in this part of Nova Scotia! Thank you Evan for being such a highly motivated and enlightening guide!

Sam is super... - Sam is super accommodating and was very flexible helping me reschedule to meet a friend, and Evan was amazing. We learned s ton, had a great time, and I can't recommend this experience enough
