High Five 🖐️ in Halifax - Rana - was knowledgeable, personable, and very engaging. He took extra time to drive us around the city and inform us of the different sites and historical landmarks along the way. Even accommodated our ships late arrival time by extending himself an hour and a half beyond the normal start time.We picked up a Hyundai Sonata. Is it comfortable ride? Bottled water was provided. We would recommend this tour again. He was not in a hurry and allow us to take our time to wander the shops and get snacks and went above and beyond with our questions and accommodating our personal needs.

Peggy's Cove tour - I think you should cut the "City Tour" out of the title of the tour. Yes, keep it in the itinerary, but from what we got, the title was misleading. However, Peggy's Cove MORE than made up for it. We were given ample time to explore the geologic formation of the rocks and shop for "trinkets" when we were done. The site is amazing.

From the seaside to the grave - We really enjoyed the private tour aspect, instead of being a part of a large group. The driver was knowledgeable about the historical sites we visited & he was pleasant & easy to converse with about many other topics. I appreciated that he was very accommodating & didn’t hurry us through sites.

We were a little... - We were a little underwhelmed at what Halifax had to offer after visiting several other small town ports on our New England cruise. The almost one hour (each way) drive to Peggy's Cove and back just to see a lighthouse, cafe and gift shop on a cold, windy day was really not worth it. There was a quaint town which one could walk around in but not in the weather we experienced (and we drove through the town in mid-morning and many shops were closed at that time). I'm sure on a warm sunny day with less wind, it's a nice place to spend an hour or two. Fortunately, because we had booked a private tour, we were not stranded there for 2 hours like those on bus tours! Our City tour consisted primarily of a drive-by of the Citadel with a quick stop for picture taking from the viewpoint and a short stop to visit the Titanic passenger's graves in the cemetery. Our driver was very friendly and accommodating but had only lived in Halifax for 5 years so had good basic knowledge but still somewhat limited as a guide. He also had an accent which made it hard to understand some of what he said. The car was very clean and he was an excellent and safe driver. In summary, if visiting Peggy's Cove is on your bucket list, definitely consider the weather and book a private driver unless you're sure you want to spend two hours there. If you're really into the Titanic graveyard you'll need a car to get there (taxi or tour). Otherwise, if you're in good shape you can walk the Halifax Boardwalk and most of the downtown and visit The Citadel (does require a good walk uphill) on your own.

Great day in Halifax! - Overall a very good tour. Arsh was very personable and reasonably well informed. He helped us out when we returned to town to take us to the Maritime museum which was not on our tour and drop us off there.

Peggy’s Cove-no tour just drop off-Citadel-no tour, just drop off; Cemetery-tour consisted of guide’s only answerin - If dialect is a concern, ask about nationality of guide. Would have been an okay tour if one understood guide better. There was a couple from the Southern USOn the tour; the guide commented to the Southerner that he was having difficulty understanding the Southerner’s dialect. Our guide was from India.
