Setting Sail on a Dream

The sun was just beginning to rise over Pattaya City as I found myself boarding a sleek, luxury catamaran for a day of island-hopping adventure. The promise of exploring the stunning islands of Koh Phai, Koh Rin, and Koh Ped had me buzzing with excitement. As a former professional surfer, the ocean has always been my playground, and this trip was a chance to dive into new waters and discover the hidden gems of Thailand’s coastline.

It was a surreal experience, feeling the light touch of a monkey perched on my shoulder, its tiny hands reaching for a snack.

In between island visits, the catamaran offered a sanctuary of relaxation. Lying on the canvas mesh at the front of the boat, I soaked in the sun, the gentle sway of the boat lulling me into a state of bliss. The Thai buffet lunch was a delightful feast, a perfect complement to the day’s adventures.

As the sun began to set, we made our way back to Pattaya, the memories of the day etched in my mind. The seamless organization, the breathtaking sights, and the camaraderie of fellow travelers made this a journey to remember.
