Enjoy a ride on a local train towards MaeKlong station, witnessing the “Unseen-Thailand” spectacle. As the train signal sounds, vendors quickly retract their stalls and clear goods to make way for the speeding train. Once the train passes, the vendors promptly set up their stalls again. Note: The journey from the hotel to Maeklong Market takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes.
• Coconut Sugar Farm - Discover the process of how Thai farmers create coconut nectar and palm sugar loaf. Watch a demonstration of coconut flower cutting, pouring nectar into bamboo containers, adding preservation woods, and boiling and pasteurizing the nectar into a drinkable form. Try squeezing coconut milk from a shell using a traditional Thai “rabbit-teeth” wooden machine. Note: The travel time from the coconut farm to the hotel is about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
• Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - This floating market is one of Thailand’s most captivating. The tour includes motorboat rides! Both Thai and international tourists visit to experience the vibrant atmosphere of Thailand’s water markets, unchanged for over a century. Sample a variety of delicious Thai fruits and foods, such as sweet mango on sticky rice, freshly-made coconut ice cream, and Thai-style boat noodles.
• Khum Damnoen Resort - The Khum Damnoen Restaurant is an excellent dining choice for guests of all ages. Whether dining with friends or family, the chefs offer a wide selection of Thai and international dishes, available in set menus or à la carte. The restaurant serves traditional Thai dishes made with fresh, local ingredients, providing an authentic taste of Thai cuisine. The experience concludes with a meal at The Khum Damnoen Restaurant, suitable for all ages and genders. This option does not include a wheelchair, a medical staff, or first aid kit.
