From either of those 2 cities, you will reach the destination in 2 hours. Then, we will continue the trip by 4WD Jeep vehicle to enjoy the bumpy road towards Mt. Penanjakan which is the best spot to enjoy the breathtaking scene of the most popular Bromo’s Sunrise and the landscape views of Mt. Batok along with the highest mountain in East Java, Mt. Semeru. After witnessing the golden sunrise we move to the next ‘dish’ which is the Bromo volcano itself.
By driving down the hill, you will pass the vast sea of sand, from the eruption of Mt. Bromo. In a 30 minutes-easy trekking you will get all the way to the tip of the crater and witness the trembling sound from the ‘underworld’ inside the volcano. Then, you will get your breakfast buffet before we off to your drop point.

Amazing Bromo Tour - We had the most amazing time with trippy trip tours to see the sunrise at Mount Bromo, and it honestly exceeded every expectation. The views were out of this world — layers of mist, glowing skies, and that magical Bromo silhouette that just doesn’t look real.
A huge shout-out to our guide, Riski, who was absolutely superb from start to finish. He made us feel completely comfortable throughout the journey, kept the vibe fun and relaxed, and shared so much local knowledge that really enriched the experience. You can tell he genuinely cares about giving people a memorable day.
If you’re thinking about doing a sunset tour at Bromo — do it, and definitely ask for Riski. Highly recommended! 🌋✨

Reclmendation 100% - It was amazing! I saw mount Bromo for sunset and later a bit of tracking by the vuulcan and all was perfect. After I visited the Madakaripura waterfalls... amazing. Everything was perfect, as the amability and decication of Bima, an excelent the driver👍

Perfect Early Morning Mt. Bromo Experience with a Friendly Guide! - We made the right choice going to Mt. Bromo at 5 am instead of joining the usual midnight crowd. The timing was perfect — nice cool weather, and the sun was already up by the time we arrived, making it a pleasant walk. We even had a short coffee break before exploring.
It was still crowded, but much less hectic than usual. Ryan was very friendly and easy to chat with. He took great care of everyone, made sure no one got left behind, and always looked out for our safety.
Bonus: he takes amazing photos too!

Recommend it! - I highly recommend this experience! Our guide Sreng was amazing. The sunrise at Mount Bromo was breathtaking — just make sure to bring a warm jacket or rent one there, as it can get quite cold. Madakaripura Waterfall was absolutely magical and definitely a must-see. We were lucky to avoid the tourist crowds during the trip, which made the whole experience very pleasant and comfortable.
