Thierry should get a raise! He was amazingly knowledgeable and knew all the French kings from Clovis on-ward. He was the perfect guide and took me not only to Versailles but a number of lovely small villages near Versailles on picturesque roads. I learned so much about Versailles and the on again off again nature of the French revolution. If I had one suggestion it would be to handout a small map of the towns where we traveled and maybe on this same paper some historical notes to take away from the experience. I would strongly recommend this wonderful outing, and, as I said, "Kudos to Thierry who was the best guide I have ever had on any tour." David T. Woodley, M.D.
