A Relaxing Summer's Day In Paris

Musee Rodin
Start off your morning with breakfast in the garden cafe amid some of Rodin's most famous sculptures and the heavy perfume of the abundantly large rose bushes. Meander inside the museum afterwards to explore more of his works, including some incredible marble sculptures.
Hediard
Stop by this gourmet food shop for the best that Paris has to offer. Pick up a bottle of wine, cheese, baguette, fruit and whatever else catches your eye. You'll need it for your next destination.
Canal Saint-Martin
Enjoy at picnic on the banks of Canal Saint Martin in the 10th arrondissement among the Parisians. I recommended sitting nearby Cafe Prune (36 Rue Beaurepaire, 75010) for convenience of navigation from the Metro among other things.
L'As Du Fallafel
Recover from your picnic in the sun with the best falafel in the city. Order from the to-go counter or cram inside with the mix of Parisians and tourists that flock to this joint. I recommend ordering the falafel sandwich and adding spicy sauce as much as one can stand.
L/Inconnu
Come here after dark to hang with the Parisian hipsters. If you can brave the clouds of cigarette smoke, score an outdoor table and do as the Parisians do: watch everyone that walks by while nonchalantly sipping your glass of wine.
I would stay at: Hotel de la Bretonnerie
Hotel de la Bretonnerie is a good value for a good location in the heart of the Marais (4th arrondissement). But for a truly authentic experience, I recommend renting an apartment in the 4th, 3rd, 10th, or 7th arrondissement.
