Book the tour - we appreciated the tour on a Sunday one of the few companies that actually do the tour on Sundays. It was quiet on the beaches that were so beautiful and our tour guide was very acknowledge and helpful book make sure to find some rocks and some seashells on the beaches. It’s a good way to bring something home. The museums are very interesting to hear the stories of what happened and to see some of the items that was left. The tour did not disappoint worth the time and the day trip from Paris.

So Impressive! Highly Recommend! - So glad we chose this tour. Caesar was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, friendly, and patient guide (and great driver, too). He helped make our Bucket List goal come true. We saw exactly what was specified along with other, in-between sites, rounding out the humbling D-Day experience. Standing on the beach, walking through the bunkers, and witnessing Taps at the beautiful American cemetery made for outstanding memories. The small group was a plus; no wrangling among hordes of people. This was definitely the highlight of our Paris adventure. Highly recommend.

Outstanding Trip to D-Day Normandy - One of the highlights of our spectacular nine-day visit to Paris in November was the day trip my wife and I took to the beaches and sites of Normandy linked to D-Day. We were part of a group of six, comfortably driven in a private van by our wonderful guide, Brun. Outgoing and pleasant, she shared so much of her vast expanse of historical knowledge relating to World War II. She was able to take us places that most tour buses don't go, including a solitary section of Omaha Beach away from the tourist areas that gave us a sense, on the cold and blustery day of our tour, of what it must have been like for young soldiers spilling onto the beach out of landing crafts under merciless enemy fire. Longue-Sur-Mer, with its silent German batteries still standing, was another sobering stop on our tour, as was Point du Hoc, scaled by US Army Rangers with tremendous loss of life. And if the American Cemetery does not move you as a reminder of the terrible price that sometimes must be paid to preserve liberty, then you picked the wrong tour. The day trip is a long day, about three hours' drive each way, but we still had enough time to visit all the sites that we wanted, as Brun tried to maximize every minute for sightseeing and kept the group from dallying in rest stops. For most of us, this will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience the moving sites of D-Day and vicariously living through the Longest Day that changed the course of history. Definitely worth the cost of the trip and waking up very early to catch the van, and if you are fortunate, your guide will be Brun. Keep up the great work, Brun!

Awesome Tour - We did the Normandy small group trip and would highly recommend this tour. Not only was it very interesting, but our guide did an outstanding job of explaining the sites and providing some of the history of what happened in each location on D-Day. The drive to and from Paris is a bit long, but totally worthwhile once you get to the destination. Tour was well organized and everything ran on time.

Underwhelmed - Unfortunately we were terribly disappointed with this tour. Firstly they failed to tell us that the Overlord Museum was closed for the Winter. Honestly the price should've reflected that or a call in advance would have sufficed NOT the day of. Definitely price gouging for sure. Not sure if the tour guy knew a lot about history due to the questions we asked. Go to a less expensive tour and save your money. Not worth it!

Very disappointed in their lack of response to cancellation. - Very disappointed- had done 2 trips with them in 2023 - loved them. We booked Normandy for early October this year - I had a terrible cough prior to trip, emailed them 6 hours more than required time to cancel and I have contacted them twice about refund - no response other than their form letter telling me their refund policy each time I emailed them. No excuse for this! I also had booked Giverney for later in the week, felt better so I did that trip. It has become the principal as opposed to the money.

I don’t think Bruno wants to do this job - Our tour guide did this tour a tremendous disservice. He took us from point to point and would provide us with five seconds of information and then he would get back in the van and leave us on our own. The other guides from this booking with other groups stayed with their groups and provided them with a lot of information. So this is to say it’s not a tour problem, it was a guide (Bruno) problem. For 13 hours we felt like hostages riding in total silence from place to place. I don’t think Bruno wants to be doing this job, so he probably shouldn’t. What should have been an emotional and informative tour turned out to be an awkward 13 hours. Bruno functioned more in the capacity of driver than guide. My advice would be to read about DDay and Normandy on your own prior to the trip so that you can lead your own tour. Especially if you get stuck with Bruno.

Bruno was disappointing - Bruno, our guide, was a disappointment. He never told us where we were heading, or the significance.

Not The Same Experience As Everyone Else Sadly - I submitted this review directly to Blue Fox but never got a response... I along with my mother were in Julian's tour yesterday. I wanted to share some feedback with you, because we were both very disappointed with the experience. This is surprising, because this specific tour has received wonderful reviews according to your website. 1) While our guide's knowledge was adequate, it was obvious he was just doing a job and did not have much of an interest or passion for WWII history. While I don't know a ton about it myself, I felt at times that I knew much more which was disappointing. Basic "off script" questions could not be answered. 2) The safety of everyone on the tour was jeopardized due to the extreme speed on the way back to Paris. When we left the cider tasting, our ETA back to Paris was 9:35pm. Due to an excessive rate of speed and weaving in and out of traffic, we returned at 8:16pm. Everyone in the van was scared, and nobody could relax. After doing many tours throughout Europe over the last several weeks, I must say this was by far the worst. I'm glad our trip did not end in tragedy due to the guide's recklessness. I feel my feedback should definitely be shared with others, as this is not acceptable.
