Nice half-day visit to Versailles - Efficient and informative. Our guide Michelle was energetic, funny, passionate and well informed about Versailles and French history. Mini-bus ride out to Versailles was very comfortable and air conditioned. Small group tour moved swiftly through the palace. I wish we had a little more time in some of the rooms and definitely needed more time in the gardens. Overall well worth it.

Beautiful location and... - Beautiful location and great tour! I loved going in a smaller bus and group!! Lots of information, I liked that we had some time at the end to individually tour the gardens if you wanted.

Great way to experience the Palace of Versailles - Nicolas was an excellent guide providing enough interesting commentary without overwhelming us. He happily answered any questions we had, ensured we could navigate the significant number of people at the palace and had adequate time in each space. Having our own time in the incredible gardens was a blissful respite and we had adequate time to explore a good amount.

Outstanding Guide and Tour - We were very pleased with our small group tour to Versailles Palace and Gardens. Our guide Nicholas was very informed, a terrific communicator and he was pleasant and professional. We would highly recommend this tour to other travelers wanting a great experience at a good price.

Great afternoon - A great afternoon lead by a Nick! History of sites on the way there. Small group lent itself for us all to get to know each other. Nick lead us through Versailles and allowed plenty of time to explore the gardens. We could all hear it all with the electronics used.

Great tour company, highly recommend. - Incredible experience! Our guide Nikolas was really wonderful. He drove us from Paris to Versaille, then walked us throughout the palace (lots of fascinating information - I definitely recommend going with a guide, not only do they know the best spots to see things but they also know how to navigate the crowds really well!) Then Nikolas took us into the gardens and oriented us with the layout and the best things and paths to follow to see as much as possible. This was a half day trip starting in the afternoon which was the perfect amount of time. However, this company also does a full day trip with a break for lunch in the middle, which I would also recommend because it includes going to see the Queen's palace at Versaille. Either way, half day or full day, this company was more expensive than most but definitely definitely worth the extra cost.

Fantastic Tour of 2 of Champagne regions small producers - We had a great tour of 2 the region’s smaller producers. Very informative. Our tour guide/driver was excellent, he clearly shared the information about the region and production of champagne. We were able to sample 3 champagnes at each of the houses. Each was delicious. We had a stop at Hautvillers Dom Perignon Church, then a stop to over look the region - beautiful views. I will recommend this tour to my friends.

Worth a visit but beware of crowds! - Easy to get to from Paris by train, Versailles should be on your checklist if you like castles and/or history. Versailles is as much as a museum as it is castle so you get two for the price of one. A small group tour is probably the best way to get a lay of the place and the important highlights you need to see and know. Though large, you should be able to get through in about 90 minutes. We skipped the gardens but they are extensive and you can stroll there for another 30-60 minutes. The town of Versailles is also worth taking a walk through five minutes from the castle. The main reason for my three star review are the sheer crowds in the place which made for a less than pleasant experience. Also, we had toured several castles in the Loire valley previously so I may have been a little castled out. Go so you can say you’ve been. It’s worth the half day trip from Paris. If you love museums, give yourself more time.
