• Pointe Du Hoc Memorial - During World War II, Pointe du Hoc was the site of numerous German bunkers and machine gun posts. Before the Normandy invasion, the German army reinforced the area with concrete casemates and gun pits. On D-Day, the United States Army Provisional Ranger Group successfully attacked and captured Pointe du Hoc by scaling the cliffs. U.S. generals, including Dwight D. Eisenhower, had identified the location as housing artillery that could hinder nearby beach assaults.
• St. Laurent-sur-mer Churchyard - Lunch (3 courses and drinks) included. Delight in a meal within a charming and welcoming atmosphere.
• Batterie Allemande de Longues-Sure-Mer - Situated on a 60 m (200 ft) cliff overlooking the Baie de Seine, this battery was part of Germany’s Atlantic Wall coastal defenses, positioned between the Allied landing sectors of Gold Beach and Omaha Beach.
• Juno Beach Centre - Juno Beach was one of the five beaches involved in the Allied invasion of German-occupied France during the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, in World War II. The beach stretched from Courseulles, a village just east of the British beach Gold, to Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer, and just west of the British beach Sword.
  PLEASE NOTE: Depending on the schedule, a stop at Juno Beach may be possible. This stop is not guaranteed and will depend on the time available.
• Paris - Return to the French Capital around 6:15 pm. Your private guide will drop you off at your hotel.

Intimate Guided Normandy day trip from Paris by air conditioned minibus. You will discover the D-Day beaches of World War II with your private guide. The Omaha Beach and its visitor center to learn stories and historical facts about the events in Normandy; a walk through the American Cemetery dedicated to honor the fallen heroes of the U.S. Finally, you’ll head to Juno Beach, where Canadian troops overcame strong enemy resistance as soon as they landed. Return back in Paris at the end of the day for a drop to your hotel.

• Please note that due to actual traffic situation in Paris the real Pick-up may take place up to 30 minutes later than the time indicated on the voucher.
