Fun! Fun! Fun! - This was such a terrific evening! One man comic is hysterical! He stayed late to entertain questions from the audience. Really enjoyed!

Loved this show - This show is very entertaining. Not really risqué, but not for kids either, at least in my opinion. We laughed pretty much the entire time, and he did a great job of engaging the audience.

Soooo fun… AND informative! - What a fun way to spend an evening in Paris! The show is very funny and gives you some real life tips on how to fit in better in Parisian society and not be offended by the weird faces and sounds Parisians make. If I could’ve taken off half a star I would have, because the seats are ridiculously tiny and the woman sitting next to me (more like on my lap) sneezed and coughed through the whole show and now two days later it is me sneezing and coughing. Not the comedian’s fault, but a larger theater with more than a quarter inch between people would be lovely.

Enriching Humor. - This was a special treat outside of the typical touristy visits to museums, churches, etc. Gerard was funny and also gave the audience a cultural perspective that could be useful on anyone’s travels to the City of Lights.

Different but jokes aren't top quality - Meh. It was fun to try something new whilst in Paris and the concept for the show is great. Unfortunately, the jokes are cliche and not that funny :( We did laugh pretty hard a few times but over the course of an hour we had expected a bit more.

IF YOU APPRECIATE HIGH QUALITY COMEDY, THIS SHOW IS NOT FOR YOU. - I had high hopes for this show as it came highly recommended by an American friend who lives in Paris and due to its positive reviews. Perhaps I am not the audience, as I tend to gravitate toward humor that is creative. Clever. David Chappelle, Jon Stewart, Jerry Seinfeld... I appreciate all types of comedy. This however is not that. By way of example, at the very outset, Olivier asked the audience what they think of when they think French food. "Baguettes!" "Croissants!" we shouted. Then some poor woman, going a little further, said, "Steak à poivre." "Steak a pa-ver?" retorted Olivier, and proceeded to make fun of her/her accent. With rich material from which to draw (Paris), to have to resort to meanness and something so obvious as an English speaker's imperfect accent seems like a missed opportunity. The above is meant to demonstrate the type of show you are in for, as it continues like this throughout the show. A Parisian cab driver picks up an Asian passenger. "Where are you from?" "China." "Oh, that is where my iPad is from." We get it. Parisians are rude. Asians are, well, caricatures. To be fair, plenty of people were laughing so again, I may not be the target audience. I do wish though I'd probed a bit deeper when talking to my friend about the show as what is readily apparent in hindsight is not all comedy is created equal.
