• Conciergerie - The Conciergerie is the oldest remaining section of the Palais de la Cité and was once France’s most infamous prison. It held over a thousand “enemies of the Revolution,” including notable figures like Marie Antoinette.

• Fontaine Saint-Michel - Pass by the Saint-Michel fountain, a grand fountain commissioned by Haussmann under Napoleon III. It portrays the archangel Michael defeating the Devil, symbolizing the battle between Good and Evil.
