Enjoyable sightseeing - It’s best to go early if it’s the peak of tourist season. It was a delightful cruise with a very good narrator. There’s lots to do and see in Paris; this is worth your time and money.

Great cruise - Fun way to see sights and river without walking, almost did it a second time I liked it so much! A must do in Paris to save your energy and time. Tour in English, Spanish and French, with vending machines on site. Easy to find pier.

Great but noisy - The cruise itself was nice, however, be prepared to hear screaming people every time you go under a bridge. It gets old fast and takes away from the beauty of the scenery. People are doing it for the echoes. We found it childish. It seems like it’s an ongoing thing, at every boat tour. Otherwise, seine cruise was great. Seeing buildings at night, including the sparkling Tower twice is worth it.

Go at night! - Go at night! The scenery is beautiful! Don't expect a lot of information from the narration—this part was disappointing.

Good but it's crowded and a mass tourist operation - We liked that you didn't have to book a specific time and wanted the night cruise which is something everyone wants it turns out. Be prepared for very long lines at night but even though we arrived at 930 or so we were able to get on a boat within 30 minutes or so- it's an efficient operation but you'll feel a bit like cattle bc it's a very popular excursion. Definitely mass tourist - if that's what you are looking for then book it. Also I was surprised there was no safety briefing even though there were 100s of ppl on the boat including small children. Thankfully no issues.

Poor communication and passive aggressive behavior by the operator - My wife and I were very excited about this cruise and were really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, it ended up being quite disappointing due to poor communication and unprofessional behavior from the staff. When we boarded, we were told that access to the upper deck was temporarily closed and would reopen after passing the first couple of bridges so that the water level could be checked to ensure it was safe for people to stand. Because of this, everyone was confined to the lower deck, which quickly became extremely crowded. We were stuck in the middle section with virtually no view of the surroundings. Even after passing several bridges, the upper deck remained closed. When I politely asked a staff member when it might open, he simply repeated that it was “for our safety.” When I asked if they could give us an approximate time, he responded in a passive-aggressive manner and continued repeating the same line instead of offering a helpful explanation. What made the situation even more frustrating was that we could clearly see people on the upper decks of other boats operated by the same company, and they appeared to be the exact same type of boat as ours. The upper deck was not opened for us until we had already passed Notre-Dame Cathedral and completed roughly half of the cruise. On the return journey, we went through the exact same bridges while standing on the upper deck—bridges that had supposedly been unsafe just minutes earlier. Had the staff simply communicated clearly and treated passengers respectfully, the situation might have been understandable. Instead, the lack of transparency and the dismissive attitude we encountered significantly diminished what should have been a memorable experience.

BUYER BEWARE - Insane Line Ups - minimal organization - The line up was absolutely insane. It was at least 1.5 to 2 hrs minimum. No protections from the weather (it was hovering above zero with biting cold wind (we're from the Prairies of Canada and cold is no issue) There is no additional staff offering updates or timelines just a random line snaking down the causeway and underneath the bridge. No option to talk to anyone, no ability to re-book. the cost for my son and I was gone as we weren't going to send 2 hrs in a lineup on our first night in Paris.

Giant rat on board and no refund! - Cautionary tale… while waiting to board our boat, we noticed a giant rat weaving in and out of the benches we would soon be sitting on nibbling on left behind crumbs. Our children freaked out at the thought of being trapped on a boat with a rat at their feet and it was equally disturbing to the adults. We all agreed this didn’t seem like a good idea. We snapped a photo of the rat and took it to the ticket booth and they said to contact Viator for a refund. Viator denied our request!!! So we were stuck with the cost of 11 tickets. We were baffled that they would not refund tickets under such unsanitary conditions!! Will not be using Viator for further bookings. And also, I understand the nature of the cruise being outdoors, however I would assume more measures could be taken to maintain a rodent free trip.

Terrible Seine River Boat Tour - If you're thinking about hopping on the Seine River Boat Cruise for a scenic and relaxing experience, you might want to manage your expectations—or skip it altogether. The boat was absolutely packed. They clearly prioritized ticket sales over guest experience, cramming in far more people than should be reasonable for any "sightseeing" tour. If you’re lucky enough to snag a seat on the outer edge, you might catch a glimpse of the riverbanks. But if you’re seated anywhere on the inside? Good luck seeing anything beyond the backs of other passengers’ heads. As for the narration? There was technically a guide speaking, but you’d hardly know it. The speaker system was so faint and muffled that it sounded more like a distant conversation than an informative tour. Whatever interesting facts were being shared were lost in the hum of the engine and general chatter. All in all, the cruise felt more like a crowded ferry ride than a guided sightseeing experience. Definitely not worth the time or ticket price unless you're just looking for somewhere to sit on water for an hour.
