Sania of Montmarte - Sania our tour guide was amazing. She was able to walk cobblestone streets backwards and talk at the same time. It was a hike for us but well worth the experience. She could read our bodies and knew when we needed a break. So much to see!! Sania’s knowledge was excellent and she came prepared with a picture notebook for visual references. For guests in our late 60’s you should be in shape and wear very comfortable shoes. I’m so glad we did this with her.

Artistic Heights - Linda is a wealth of information, beyond the history of the area. We booked a private tour with our young son. She was very patient and engaged our son during the trip. She knew where bathrooms were available, and she is also a foodie! We had so many questions regarding where to find certain foods, and she knew ALL of them. We really appreciated her bakery recommendation since, until our tour with Linda, most of the bakeries were disappointing. After she showed us the right ones, my son had the opportunity to experience a french baguette and chocolate croissant at their best! She also has a great sense of humor and discussed history in an age appropriate way. Linda helped us get the most out of this tour, and we left with great appreciation of the history and culture cultivated in this area of Paris. Thanks, Linda!

Great walking tour of Montmarte - We actually did a private tour of Montmarte with Sophia from LivTours. The semiprivate tour started at 8:30 am, but with the private tour for the 4 of us, we were able to start the tour based upon our convenience. This turned out to be extremely helpful, as due to a closure of a particular line of the Metro, we did have to walk a bit to meet our guide, pushing us further back. Sophia was very knowledgeable about the neighborhood, and helped put its present in context to the past. All of us had a wonderful time, including our youngest, to whom Sophia pointed out all the space invaders artwork in the neighborhood. An in-depth look at one of the prettiest and artistic neighborhoods of Paris. Highly recommended.

Maria was a joy! - Maria was absolutely wonderful! She was very educated in the areas and the history and even knew the myths from neighbors living in certain areas. She was very detailed even pointing out where local artists have left their mark on some of the walls, then took us to her favorite diner for excellent coffee!

Great morning in Monmartre - Audrey, our tour guide was so nice and knowledgeable, it was more like walking with a friend who lived in the area! She was so understanding as we had trouble getting to the meet up spot due to a Paris 10 K that closed many of the roads. It was a lovely way to get to see and enjoy this area of Paris!
