- Montmartre - This iconic district in northern Paris, affectionately known as the “Village,” is renowned for its rich artistic history, particularly with painters who once roamed its steep, cobblestone streets. Today, Montmartre is one of the most popular destinations in the City of Lights. Our tour offers an authentic glimpse into the local charm of Montmartre by guiding you through its quaint streets.
- Moulin Rouge - The tour kicks off opposite the iconic Parisian landmark, the Moulin Rouge windmill. As we ascend the hill, we’ll pass by the café featured in the film Amélie and the former residence of Van Gogh.
Our first stop is at one of Paris’ top bakeries, celebrated for its award-winning bread and pastries. Here, you’ll savor one of France’s most beloved pastries: a buttery croissant. What better way to start your morning in Paris?
- Le Mur des Je t’aime - After discovering how to say “je t’aime” in 250 languages and hearing the intriguing tale of Paris’ first bishop, we’ll climb a few more steps to uncover one of Montmartre’s most charming squares and the former home of Pablo Picasso. Listen to the stories of the struggles faced by many local artists before they achieved fame and success.
- Le Moulin de la Galette - We’ll pass by one of Paris’ last remaining windmills, now fully privatized, and stroll down Montmartre’s “Champs-Élysées,” where some of the city’s most luxurious homes are located. Your guide will then lead you through a hidden passage that unveils not only one of the best views of Paris but also one of the city’s most picturesque cobbled streets!
- Au Lapin Agile - Next, we’ll visit the renowned vineyards of Montmartre, perched near the hilltop, offering views over the Paris suburbs and producing surprisingly fine red wine. Across from the vineyard is the entrance to the famous Cabaret, Le Lapin Agile, where your guide will share the legend of Lolo, the painting donkey.
- Basilique du Sacre-Coeur de Montmartre - Our journey concludes at the iconic Basilica Sacré-Coeur, where we’ll pause to admire a unique view of the church, known to few tourists, before culminating in another breathtaking Parisian panorama.
